The rosemary palmier are a reason to live! I hesitated to write this review, for fear that y’all would come in and buy all the palmiers, but I’m a generous woman, and there’s enough to go around. Also, seems like the word is out. I was talking to my hygienist today, in the dentist chair. We both live in North Asheville, and she asked me what I thought of owl moving in, and I told her how excited I was. She told me that the rosemary palmiers are her favorites as well.Everything was good, but these palmiers make this a destination bakery!

Strawberry pastry was great. They were out of jasmine tea latte so I got the London fog and it was so cozy. Oven didn’t work so couldn’t eat the quiche warm. Easy parking, great selection of bread and pastries.

This was our first time at OWL and it was a hit. The orange blossom cappuccino was delicious, floral, and not too sweet. Husband loved the traditional cappuccino and said it was so good it needed no sweetener. We had the quiche which was lovely and not overcooked. I would say it was light on herbs. The pecan streusel slapped! It is similar to baklava in texture, some might say a southern baklava. Overall worth a trip to OWL!

Recently went to Asheville for a long weekend vacation. We had our breakfast at Owl every single morning! All of the baked goods, sweet and savory, rival anything found anywhere. Delicious lattes are served by the most charming staff!

They went over the various products on display, talked about the coffee roasters Owl partners with, and gave me the inside scoop over the best time to arrive for pastries and such.Highly recommend you check out the place. Our group ordered sourdough bread, the cranberry tart, and the danish. They were amazing!!!! I especially loved the sourdough bread! Service was so nice too! If I lived here I'd come every week!! ??

I would enjoy these baked goods in any city- this is a must visit in Asheville! Despite the line, everyone was so kind and helpful- the place had a nice welcoming vibe, whether you're staying in or taking the food to go. I highly recommend their rosemary molasses syrup latte, but even just an Americano is delicious. Over my several visits I have tried their coffee walnut strudel, apple franzipane strudel, cardamom bun, chocolate croissant, and their pear cream cheese danish, and have enjoyed every single one.
