Beautiful roof top bar with a great views and vibes. Worst food we had during our entire stay in Asheville. Definitely a place for drinks but get dinner somewhere else.

The views are nice and it's a great place for live music, but the food is lacking. Go for drinks and music, but skip dinner.

They are a Harry Potter Tiki Bar. The themeing seems to clash but the drinks and service are great with a cool view of the mountains and downtown.

The drinks are fun and the band is good - they have a saxophonist! I asked for my wine in a whale cup and they gave it to me lol

For a hotel roof top bar, its pretty sweet. Food is good and love the view and vibe. If you are staying at this hotel its pretty cool. Cheers.

I attended a rooftop, wear all white party with and friends and it was a great spot! Very cool vibes, incredible views, and a full bar with cocktails and cocktails!

Wonderful, only draw back is parking if you aren’t staying in the hotel. Very confusing situation and very expensive to park for just a cocktail. If you can find a spot to park on the street, great. Well worth the trouble of parking.

Love the tiki bar here, such a beautiful and well decorated, on theme of course! The food was amazing , I came here with friends to enjoy my birthday evening. The live band was great. The service was a little slow at the time, it was very busy. The server did however forget to give my friend her credit card back. So the next day we had to return. That was the only hiccup, this is a great place to enjoy the sunset and cocktails 🍸 😀

Casual atmosphere with views of the mountains on either side of both buildings. Awesome fruity cocktails $12-$18. Our server, Tate, was awesome. He even offered to take pictures of our parents!

I had a bloody Mary. It was excellent, bartender worked to make sure it was made how I like it. Staff was attentive. The place has a cool tiki vibe.

Some amazing tiki drinks and a great view of Asheville. They serve dinner, but the tiki drinks are crazy good. On top of the Hilton Garden Inn. I recommend the Echoes of the Abyss and Birds of Paradise. So delicious.
Justin is amazing - listen to his recommendations.

So we visited Asheville coming Greenville, SC on Monday the 16th and we were looking for a place that had a nice ambiance so we settled on Pillar Rooftop and Bar to grab some drinks and food. The entrance was set up rather nicely so we decided to sit out on the terrace overlooking the city and we weren't disappointed... We sat overselves down and continued chatting until we were noticed by a staffer who came and wiped the table down, we ordered two drinks one of which was frozen watermelon drink with salted seeds that was well worth price, however my drink was ok but it was dominated by an extremely large piece of ice that when taken out you were only left with a small portion of the drink plus it watered the drink down tremendously. We decided to order an appetizer of fried green tomatoes while we decided what we wanted off of the main menu, so after five minutes we decided to order the wings and the Pillar Smash burger and fries. After a few minutes the waiter returned and said they were out of the burger and the wings so we ordered the fish, some onion rings and the chicken sandwich and after another 5 minutes the waiter returned and said that they we weren't able to order anything fried, now mind you remember that we ordered the fried green tomatoes and we received those and now you're saying that you can't fry any other types of food??? The crazy part is that we got there at 9pm and they didn't close until 11pm so I'm not quite understanding why they would shut the kitchen down so soon. We ended up getting two very expensive salads that really didn't live up to the hype. We didn't complain but it did put a damper on the overall experience considering this was a last my minute birthday surprise for my lady. Would I recommend it to others??? Yes and no. If you do visit, go for the experience and the view but not for the service because the service is not on par with the price and the menu doesn't offer enough selections to truly satisfy ones palate.

My husband and I came here for an anniversary getaway. Such a cute bar with incredible views! The drinks were delicious and come prepared in the cutest glasses. The fried pickles were AMAZING. They have lots of local brews and a seasonal menu. Very romantic spot and perfect for an anniversary or date night celebration!

Fantastic location and atmosphere. The food was average and the menu was largely fried food. The service was indifferent and food service was incredibly slow despite it being a quiet time. A great spot for a drink and appetizer.
