Ate here last night and it was phenomenal. We had Scallion pancakes, chicken dumplings, Chicken Lo Mein, shanghai style pork dumplings, chicken wings and bbq pork buns and everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. This is my favorite meal I have eaten in years. I literally cannot wait to come back!

This place has a wonderful memu where you can order lots of little dishes to put together for a good meal. I had their green beans, Buddha tofu rolls, fried rice (asked for no egg) and seaweed salad. All fantastic. There is an entire vegetarian section on the menu and servers were willing to help with getting vegan options.

We went when the restaurant opened for the day. The food was good and came out quickly. The service was terrible, the waiter was rude and nonexistent for most of our visit. There are lots of other restaurants downtown that offer a more friendly atmosphere.

Don't let the signage throw you -- DimSum and Tapas because Red Ginger incorporates both into a wonderful diverse menu of offerings ! Service was attentive and welcoming. We ate dinner there 3 nights in a row. All the dishes we sampled were well prepared, seasoned and beautifully plated!

My friend and I had a longstanding tradition to celebrate our shared May birthday there each year, but this year when the owner refused to honor our 15% off birthday coupons (which we both were emailed that month by the restaurant, just like every year), we decided it was the last time we’d eat there. I later learned from their waitstaff that others have had the same experience. We were so disappointed, because for both my friend and me, Red Ginger was a place we loved to tell people about, take out of town guests, and celebrate special occasions. I’m sad because I really love their food.

i ordered the eggplant and it was good, lots of veggie options. maybe not the most filling but it's probably better if you're sharing different dishes with the group.

Very good variety on the menus. The food was excellent. I can recommend the Steamed Dumplings and the Ramen Noodles. Parking was not an issue.

We have eaten here before, nice atmosphere. Upon entry many staff were present, but the greetings were muted or nonexistent. We were seated right away, and the place was not busy on a Saturday Night just before father's day. Service was fast but not familiar with the menu. The food lacked sauces or sides to compliment the dishes. Basic Soy Sauce was about it. The Tuna Tataki was the best with a nice orange citrus sauce. The famous beans were super mild and lacked flavor. The Bao Buns with Pork Belly were very nice. The soup was bland. The other DIm sum dishes were ok as we tried many of them. Overall not a great effort. Less impressed than prior visits.

Wonderful dinner menu with a plethora of options. Service was really good. The food was delivered quickly once ordered.

Excellent meal in Asheville! Quality was superb and on par with dim sum from both mainland China and Hong Kong. A must try!

There are so many choices downtown, but I wanted Asian so popped into Red Ginger. I was seated at the "bar" where you watch the cooks. Waiter was pleasant and offered suggestions. I opted for shrimp dumplings and Gau Bao. All were tasty and very filling. Either would have been enough on their own for me. Extensive menu with ample choices.

Delicious menu items, I opted for the Hot & Sour soup with the vegetarian dumplings, fried rice, edamame, tuna tataki and chicken wings. They were all good options and it is the type of restaurant you can buy and split among the table. My kids really enjoyed it too.

Delish! I love dim sum so much and our other option in Asheville was closed so a store owner recommended this place. Clean. Simple. Quality food!

Red Ginger is in my permanent NO list. Who serves chicken and beef dishes without rice???

We ordered take out & of course by the time we cooked our own rice everything was cold. Neither dish was good anyway (flavorless) and the pot stickers were grocery store freezer section quality.

If I want crappy Asian food I'll get Panda Express for half the cost and that'll include rice.
