10/09/25 Update Still the Best! We had lunch at Red Lobster today and met the most delightful waitress, Kathleen. Her greeting was strong and affirmative; would you like a Sweet Tea? It was like she knew our hearts and we formed an immediate connection. The food was spectacular as usual; the Crab legs, Baked Mushrooms and an incredible Cheesecake creation with whipped cream for dessert and strawberries but what made our day so special was our waitress. We shared our stories and we will make a plan to return to Red Lobster whenever we visit Asheville. We have two all time favorite places and Red Lobster is number One. We’ve been to Red Lobster in Spartanburg, Greenville, Asheville, Statesville, Charlotte, New Jersey, New York and Myrtle Beach. Whenever we want great seafood we look for the Red Lobster. Our absolute favorite is their snow crab legs. Just incredible! With melted, clarified butter and ice cold beer. The salad is always fresh, crisp and delicious with blue cheese dressing and the sides of broccoli and baked potato are perfect every time. Oh and the butter biscuits… good enough to make me cheat on keto. Living in Hendersonville our goto Red Lobster is on Tunnel Road so whenever we’re in Asheville we head over that way. I love seafood and I’ve have many great meals in many great restaurants but for something you can count on every single time, it’s Red Lobster!
