Rendezvous is, in my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Asheville. The food is country French - simple, fresh, and flavorful. Servings are comfortable, neither overwhelming or minuscule. Relaxed but good service and an enjoyable evening with friends.

My salmon was overcooked and under-sauced. The vegetable medley was also overcooked. The moules frites were excellent, the chicken cordon bleu was excellent, and the duck was very good but slightly under-seasoned for our taste. The bread service was sliced baguette without warming or toasting, a disappointment. Service was good on this slow Monday at the restaurant. We have had better meals here and will return anyway.

Without question, one of the best 'bistro,' French food type restaurants I've EVER had. That includes multiple visits to France. It is a must try, if you haven't been. Service was outstanding, never obtrusive and courses were never rushed. We tried their Mussels, Lobster ravioli and Beef Bourguignon. Desserts were excellent as well. Dining room is really lovely and quite intimate. We'll be back again and again!!
