Great food, service and desert. The Trout is off the charts and followed by Jupiter Grape Mille Fueille with peanut butter cream, yummy. The service is friendly. Do it.

We ordered cassoulet w andouille sausage & “pig bread” (bread crumbs in bacon fat). The “andouille” sausage wasn’t spicy at all (a mild pork sausage. Tasty but not anything resembling a Cajun andouille sausage). Served without the “pig bread”(featured on the menu description). The waitress did bring us the condiment after we pointed it out. The pig bread added another dimension to the dish. The crispy breadcrumbs significantly elevated this “cassoulet”.
The $40.00 scallops were served barely lukewarm over cold rice. I was very disappointed that this “dinner"
plate had only three scallops that were slightly larger than a quarter but definitely smaller than a half dollar. While they were delicious (after the dish was returned to the kitchen for reheating), we felt that this three small scallop dish was overpriced at $40.00. And another observation. We were seated inside the restaurant on wooden chairs that lacked any padding. I saw other seats inside the main dining room were on plain wooden benches without cushions. A thin seat cushion was provided upon request by staff. Thank you. The bar area did have well padded bench seating.

Wanted to leave this while it was fresh on the brain. I had high hopes for this place, but everything was bland and lackluster. The bison shortrib was fall off the bone and could have been amazing, but the dish is very dry- served with a grit cake, greens, and a cabbage slaw. It needed something wet- that would have turned it around I believe. The gnocchi sauce was too thin and did not stick to the gnocchi it was also bland. There also needed to be salt in the ricotta mixture.
The hushpuppies needed more pimento cheese and some sweetness to be called hush puppies.

I will say the bread service was great, but unfortunately was the highlight of our meal.

This was an exceptional meal that was one of the best in the city. The burata was very rich and paired so well with the peppers and olive oil. The red beans and mushroom dish was layered with so many ingredients, and every one had a unique flavor and texture. The squash was sweet and salty, and the fig was a remarkable bite, but the mushrooms were the star. There were easily 5 different varieties in the dish punctuated with parsley and taragon. Finally, the peach panacota was drizzled with sweet and strong bourbon sauce. The service was personal and attentive. A real outstanding meal.

Cool little dinner spot. The service and drinks were excellent. The food was hit or miss. The pimento cheese hush puppies were great. The Hoe cake was underwhelming as well as the 1/2 chicken entree (lacked flavor). The banana pudding for dessert was excellent.

Elevated farm to table restaurant focused on ingredient quality. The rabbit roulade is off the chain. Scallops properly cooked. And really good service. Worth the buck!

Food was so delicious! Goat burrata still has me thinking about it. Absolutely anything off the dessert menu is a hit - we got the blueberry mess and the banana pudding, both were just amazing. Jared provided wonderful service as did the service. Definitely recommend!

Wish I took more photos because the place was decorated well inside. Right downtown by shops and hotels. There’s outside seating too. I’d go here for an appetizer and to sit at the bar or outside but not for a meal. It was all a little too salty for my taste. Literally the chicken dish that night was unbearable. No complaints on the appetizers and drinks.

Ate solo at the bar on a Monday night - I was the only one at the bar so the atmosphere was very low key, but I had a nice back and forth with the bartender.

More important, my Tilefish and grits dish was delicious. There were lots of different flavors, savory, salty and some acid from the tomatoes. I almost always ask for heat of some kind, but the food was so balanced and tasty I didn’t even ask. The Rhubarbarian cocktail kind of nodded to a grown up margarita, but stood on its own. I loved it.

Brown, the bartender, welcomed us with warm conversation and made fantastic drinks. Jenny and Smiley assisted with our large party event in the beautiful and eclecticc private room. Everything was TOP NOTCH and DELICIOUS!!
The atmosphere was modern yet warm and inviting. People were kind and helpful, in an authentic way. And the food was fantastic. Highly recommend!!!
