If you have yet to try Rita's Ice, i would suggest that you do. If you like slushies, icies, Italian ices or custard..you WILL love their products. They have a wide array of flavors (over 50) including cherry..margarita..pina colada..orange creme..& more.
This is a wonderful place! The staff is very nice and makes you feel right at home. They are not in a rush and they don't make you feel that way either. A wide selection of ice, gelato and custard and a variety of toppings for as small as the place is, and plenty of room for tables. They even offer board games while you enjoy your sweet treats.

Just stopped in on a lazy Sunday afternoon and had the most pleasant experience with Ron behind the counter. He was so nice and very interested in making sure we got exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it. He explained the entire menu and chatted with us about football and Asheville and made us few comfortable. The custard was excellent and our bellies full.
