Sometimes you just want a thick unhealthy burger and you want the informality of a fast food joint. This *is* the place. Could not recommend more, a must-visit for vegans. Very reasonably priced
10/10 My 1st time but won’t be my last!
We were so happy to find this place while visiting Asheville! It was take-out only, and it really hit the spot. We got 2 build your own burgers with tater tots and everything was delicious! We will be back for sure, I need to try the kale salad
I really enjoyed my Kale salad and fries I am grateful they was open on Juneteenth I wants to support a Black Business and fulfill my spirit with something Healthy and Light and Romeo’s Vegan Burger was a great choice and I will be returning. #charlottelocation
We visited Asheville on a Tuesday when our favorite vegan spots were closed, so we jumped on Happy Cow and found Romeo’s, an all vegan burger place just north of downtown. The guy behind the counter welcomed us, explained the menu, and pointed out the most popular items. We ordered our burger platters (they have 3 kinds of vegan burger—Impossible, Beyond, and house-made black bean that you can have with different accompaniments) and grabbed a table. Food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. My husband got a chocolate shake to go that left him wishing he had ordered two!
I got the Mac burger with bacon, tots on the side, & a vanilla milkshake! Everything was absolutely delicious! The proportions were perfect. The milkshake was thick, sweet but not too sweet, & had rainbow sprinkles!! The only thing I'd ask is to maybe put more bacon on the burger!! I will be back for sure!
Fantastic burgers. Very fresh food, fast and friendly service. We had the Mexican Romeo burger combo with a side kale salad and the All American burger combo with fries. Got the sriracha aioli and house sauce dipping sauces. Hubby got their Dr Pepper and I had the blueberry soda. If I lived in Asheville I would eat here nonstop. Super convenient location and easy parking lot.
We have been to the Greensboro location, and we were so happy they came to Asheville!! My burger was perfect! It was so satisfying that I am craving another one right now!!
Yummy burger (I had the Where Art Thou) and the fries rocked! I love thick fries not skinny shoestring ones. I had the Sriracha Aioli dipping sauce with fries, it was so tasty. The employee at the front was friendly. I ordered ahead and my food was ready and waiting. Great experience, thanx Romeo’s 💗

The food was really delicious. It was nice to be able to go to a place that is fully vegan. I got the Mac Burger and my boyfriend got the double cheeseburger. The fries was really good too. Next time I want to try the milkshake.

We were thrilled to find this local vegan burger place on our adventures in Asheville. I ordered the All-American burger and my partner had the Tobacco Road burger. Both were delicious, and just like all the best burgers, very messy to eat. The fries were perfectly crisp and tasty. We spoke briefly with the owner....he made sure we enjoyed our food and seemed eager to bring his vision of vegan comfort food to the people of Asheville. We'll definitely be back!
Best vegan burger I've ever had. So refreshing to not have to double check everything is vegan. I got the BBQ bacon and the chili cheese fries. I wasn't a fan of the ccfries but the shake and burger were amazing.
The burger was easily one of the best vegan burgers I've had. Check this place out!

This place is amazing! The Mexican Romeo Burger was fantastic, and the sweet tea was just the right amount of sweetness! Hard to believe it’s all vegan!!

It was pretty good but not great as all of the flavors were a bit bland considering I tried to order things that have stronger flavors. Super happy to have an all vegan place with these options though. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, fries, and strawberry lemonade. The buffalo sauce wasn't tangy enough and would have been better with a bleu cheese dressing but was pretty good. The fries are battered and therefore not my thing. The pink lemonade was good but didn't have a strong lemon or strawberry flavor. On the bright side the lemonade wasn't overly sweet. I also had a chocolate chip cookie which was just ok.
