I have to tell you that we have been eating at your food truck in Burnsville at the Farmers Market. You have spoiled us for thé BEST BURGER ever, anywhere. We can’t even eat our own burgers because yours are so much more delicious. Kudos to you for having the best tasting burger ANYWHERE!!!

I jumped on a Hot Sausage Po'Baby (Slider), "Boring Fries", and Banana Puddin': for round one and for round two the pork & pimento slider, more "Boring fries (seriously, if these are boring, let me be bored!!), and the watermelon salad. I loved every bite. Everything was so delicious!

The BEST burger I’ve ever had! So juicy and flavorful! And then the owner brought us the sourdough grilled cheese for our son and that was just as good!! We’ll definitely be returning stopping by again soon!

They provided food for a show at salvage station. All of it was great, especially the blueberry

After following them for years, I finally got to try out their food on Sunday at New Belgium in Asheville. I had the fried oyster sandwich. Probably the BEST fried oysters I've every had... tender, crispy and perfect. Unfortunately I couldn't have the sauce that they put with it because it contains milk, and they didn't offer me an alternative. So I just put some crystal hot sauce on it. My husband had the Seintan sandwich (vegan) that was spiced to taste like Italian sausage. He said it was quite good, and would order again.

It was a travesty the two po boys we bought at Highland Brewing. Some bland sausage on a hamburger bun. Please do not refer to yourself as a Cajun purveyor if you are not doing authentic food. Very nice people but not worthy of calling your food Cajun.

Absolutely delicious food. Super friendly staff, good turnaround time- I barely had a wait. I got the voodoo chicken, brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese and naner pudin, so so so good. I will recommend this place to literally everyone I know.

I've gotten Root Down a few times at the West Asheville Tailgate Market now. A good burger is a subjective thing that's going to vary from person to person, but I'm really inclined to say that this is my favorite burger period. Really wonderful patty, perfect brioche bun, extremely fresh ingredients. We've also had the Market Garden Wrap and that was likewise perfect.The employees I've interacted with have also always been super nice with fast service.

Every item on this menu is out of this world! Best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Depth of seasoning and flavor to each item is unmatched. If you are anywhere within 2 hours of this food truck it will be well worth the drive. Top chefs, great service and the most amazing food will having you following this truck around. 5 stars!!!

Root Down is now my favorite food truck in Asheville. The peach salad may be one of my favorite dishes ever. Well done ?
