First off… go here. Don’t hesitate. Order everything you can. Every bite we tried was spectacular.
VIBES: I get the sense that RosaBees is very well ran internally with a great deal of respect for the staff as well as the customer experience. We had a great time talking with our friends and enjoying the vibes. We were given an adequate amount of time to share our appetizers before the main dish came out. It was very nice to not feel rushed. That’s a hard thing to get right as a restaurant and the dining experience felt very relaxed in an intentional way. The staff was extremely thorough and kind throughout the experience. Excellent vibes all around.
FOOD: Whew buddy… let me tell you… RosaBees didn’t miss.
Okonomiyaki - This dish is all about balance and the kitchen nailed it. Every bite was different and gave each component a chance to shine in any given bite. Fantastic appetizer to start.
Spam Musubi - 1. House made SPAM… RIDICULOUS. 2. Using the coconut sticky rice for this elevated the dish beyond any Musubi I’ve ever had. Again, the balance of flavors was perfect and I could have eaten a dozen of them.
Mochiko Chicken (entree) - This. Is. The. Best. Fried. Chicken. I. Have. Ever. Had. Using the rice flour for the breading helps make the fry so light yet still so crunchy. The marinade they use for the chicken thighs is spot on. SO MUCH FLAVOR. Juicy. Perfect cook. Just incredible all around. The green beans were delightful and I think I’ll dream of the wasabi mash until the end of my days. Wasabi can really dominate a dish but… again I say for the third time… the mash was perfectly well balanced. Slightly sweet. Savory. And the perfect little lift of wasabi. It was a beautiful dish.
Teri Beef (wife’s entree) - I was only able to steal two bites but those two bites told me that I need to come back and make it my entree next time. The cook was a perfect medium and the flavor was divine. The grilled pineapple made me do a little dance. Legitimately.
Chocolate Haupia Pie - We came in for my wife’s birthday. I had made a note on the reservation giving them a heads up and asking if there was anything special they could do for us. I didn’t know if they had gotten the note at all until my wife’s chocolate pie came out with sparklers lit on top of it! It was such a fantastic surprise and my wife was giddy.
This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The owner was not only present, but she was tending to every customer and actually in there WORKING. Seeing an owner be involved AND happy was so refreshing. I cannot wait to come back to RosaBees!

This place is so cute! We stopped in for an afternoon cocktail, Hunter was behind the bar and took great care of us. The Island Style coconut washed old fashion was delicious, and not too sweet. We also opted for an order of lumpia which was amazing. We can't wait to come back for dinner next time we're in town.

Decided to give Rosabee’s another try tonight, it’d been a few years and thought it was time to try it again. We arrived and it’s not busy, they tell us we can sit outside. A server brings out waters and menus and doesn’t come back for 20 minutes. We had to go inside to remind them we were outside and they still took another few minutes to come take our order. We’d ordered an app which didn’t come out first, all food came out together 30 minutes later. The chicken dish was good, the poke was bland and the salmon app was bland. There was no sense of urgency for the service, no apology for the wait and ultimately felt like just bad service. As a local, they could’ve won some business from me however I’m not going back for lackluster service or food.

Super gorgeous food and decor… first time in and we were all amazingly happy.
The most excellent meal I’ve had in a long time! The cocktails were unique and delicious, and the food was Devine - just like the best of the best from Hawaii! And then came the dessert. Wow. Just wow!!!

RosaBees on a weekday is the only place where we've had Hawaii level poke in WNC. Everything we've tried (we just keep coming back haha) is so thoughtful and delicious. The price don't even matter once you try the plates here!! I will say that I don't think coconut rice pairs well with poke, so don't do that combo just regular rice and poke and you will be sent to heaven!

Our server, Kendall, was definitely the highlight of the experience. The presentatin on the cocktails was top notch, but in terms of flavor, other than the Mauna Kaeo, the cocktails were very meh, but the food was absolutely first class. I'd say the most memorable dish was the shrimp and pork belly fried rice.
