You wonder why it’s 3 star but it is, so read this review in full. I really love the Vegan udon noodles. My daughter and I had that dish tonight and even shared our rave reviews with others. But we took home an order of Vegan udon for my other daughter, a local doula who just assisted in a birth - a new baby to celebrate in Asheville. I was excited to provide her a healthy, tasty meal. However, we ended up with shrimp in the Vegan udon. She couldn’t eat it. I was so excited to have the chance to do this for her and my thoughtfulness was totally ruined. What happened to attention to detail? I won’t ever return due to this horrific experience. I don’t know how this restaurant can resolve this issue. As a mother, I wanted to provide a great meal to my daughter who had a busy work experience in her field. What a bad outcome to what should have been a nice, thoughtful treat! The noodles have been replaced but that was absolutely necessary. This just ruined the nice surprise I wanted to give my tired but happy daughter. I changed from 1 star to 3 stars for providing the correct noodles. Food items should be given more attention to detail.

We decided to come here for the first time to celebrate a birthday. We arrived on time for our reservation, but our table wasn’t ready which wasn’t a big deal because we were sat at the bar and were told we could order drinks. We finally sat down and for some reason the bartender was our waitress while attempting to make drinks for other people while the rest of the wait staff was sitting around. She was obviously distracted because she was making drinks and attempting to wait on us, so it resulted in subpar service. The worst part of our experience was that half of us ordered a chicken dish which was undercooked!! We had to get another waiters attention to have them fix it. It took a very long time for them to fully cook it and we didn’t get all of our chicken pieces back. There wasn’t a great apology either. The situation should have definitely been handled better.Overall, the experience was not grea. The restaurant is not well organized and given that the mandatory service fee is included you’d expect a higher degree of professionalism. I’m just glad we noticed the uncooked chicken and will hopefully not be sick from eating there.

They charged us mandatory 20+3% tip, on top of clearly overpriced menu, drinks are served in small glasses, even beer, so you have to order more and more to get enough, they served us undercooked chicken and went to cook it properly, that resulted in a very long wait for the food.

I went for fancy drinks for my birthday this weekend and RosaBees did not disappoint! I especially loved the ambiance and low lighting, every little touch feels well thought out and beautiful! ✨ this pina colada was perfection!

A favorite spot for an upscale-but-not stuffy dinner, esp. for the wide variety of vegan options, inspired tiki drinks, and relaxed ambience. Service has been great both visits, friendly and super helpful with recommendations!Enjoyed everything ordered here, and they have big portions if you’re hungry.-Lumpia-Teri Beef (Tofu) - great flavors (especially the wasabi mash, which is VERY good), but a bit overpriced with the marinated tofu substitute.-Belly bowl - so good — great flavor combos, big portion.-Poke Bowl - highly recommended-Taro Chips - perfect sweet and salty accompaniment to their tiki drinks. As far as drinks: the painkiller with guava is an instant teleport to the beach, and the mauna kea is adventurous and delicious, almost like a tom kha cocktail. We’ll be back, thanks yall.Vegetarian options: Many options and substitutions (even with a meat-heavy menu), and they’re ready with recommendations.

Was the best meal I've had in a long time. I had the boar entree. Kudos to the pastry chef! The cake flight was fantastic! I did not take pictures. It all looked so good, I couldn't wait to dig in!

Amazing food, yummy drinks & great vibes. Ray and Mere/Meredith (sorry if I am off on names/spelling) were great. We came for my husband’s birthday and they put a sparkler in the dessert we ordered-so fun! Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great dinner!

My wife and I tried RosaBees for our first time on Tuesday night. We had heard good things and we were happy to find that it lived up to the hype. Our server, Hunter, was very helpful explaining the menu and made some very delicious cocktails for us as we waited for our food. We tried the Musubi, the Huli Huli Chicken and the Belly Bowl. All were fantastic and packed with flavor, but we did have to box some of it up in an effort to save room for dessert. They have a very extensive dessert menu that we could not skip, so we tried the Ube Haupia Pie. Each component and layer was so delicious by itself but the combination of everything in one bite was to die for. We highly recommend this very cozy and cute establishment and we will certainly be back soon. Cheers!

Great atmosphere! Pretty pricey for what you get. I had the Huli huli chicken, it was just all right. The cocktails are pretty good but very expensive! Beware parties over six, they add 23% gratuity.

Went to dinner Jan 24. We had a phenomenal meal, capability assisted by a phenomenal server, Rae. Everybody in the party (4) thoroughly enjoyed their meals and drinks (love the Mai Tai). This is not the first time we went, and most definitely will not be the last.

probably my favorite restaurant in asheville so far and ive been here about two years. super good food and drinks, amazing dessert, but definitely a once in a while place to eat due to the slight expense, which i dont complain about. i wish i could eat there more, if they opened another place, or opened for lunch with slightly lower prices i would happily come more often.

Great place to eat in the river arts district. The graffiti on the old warehouses is so cool. The food and drinks were amazing.

I was excited to try this restaurant, especially since it has so many great reviews. Unfortunately, I was pretty underwhelmed with the food and drinks. There was a real lack of depth in flavor and what flavor there was felt very basic (think- salt and some pineapple pieces.) Considering the prices and the description of menu items, I expected more in terms of quality. Food was beautifully presented and I really enjoyed the atmosphere, but I will not come back because I don’t believe in the food.

Don't worry, BEE happy with RosaBees! One of my favorite restaurants in Asheville! I've literally made trips to Asheville from Atlanta based on whether I could get a reservation at RosaBees! The saddest day is when I found out they no longer serve brunch because I LOVED their brunch menu. You can still find some of the dishes in their regular menu but still makes me sad either way. But when they did have it, I was happily sipping on POG mimosas and breaking into a Broke Da Mouth Bennie. Loco Moco, the Huli Huli duck (although i think the menu only has chicken now) and the Lomi Salmon are a MUST. The Ube scallops are also a gorgeous entree that you can't skip out on. And before you leave you CANNOT SHOULD NOT pass on dessert. The ube haupia pie is a classic, but I LOVED the Island Hopper, aka a dessert sampler. Butter Mochi reminded me of Hawaii, but it was my favorite. The paradise cake was so so pretty but was a little on the dry side. The POG pie was a basic pie but offers a citrusy sweet touch to end the meal. All I can dream about now is planning my next trip to Asheville for more Rosabee's!
