Something has changed for the worse in the last 6 months. Food quality and freshness have declined. This used to be on my regular rotation of local places for lunch but this may be my last trip here. It was much better in the beginning.

Not been for a while, went tonight but It now closes at 5pm, obviously don't want dinner customers. I don't think this place will be open much longer which is a shame as I loved their food. Recent reviews are terrible though so maybe I dodged a bullet.

Restaurant has gone down hill in quality since it first opened. Portion sizes are smaller and food is not as fresh, service is also slow.

Really bad food, do not recommend. No problem with the service- the folks working were nice- but the food was not very fresh and everything was exceptionally bland. The rice was microwaved, cafeteria-style, and even the soda machine wasn't working and dispensed off-colored water from all drink options.

What a $@&! show this place is. No longer has the brown rice, everything has cilantro in it which my family member can’t eat. It’s usually relatively easy to avoid. But that’s not really even the worst part. Food isn’t hot, my rice is under cooked - basically crunchy. I ordered a large guacamole and after paying $18 for 1 veggie bowl, rice and beans and guac I was told I’d need to pay an additional $4.69 for a small bag of chips…. This place has tepid food (dangerous), uncooked rice, over oiled veggies, and WAY over priced food.Popped into the bathroom and, no surprise there, disgusting.I will definitely not be back.

ordered two bowls both no beans both had beans rice wasn't cooked all the way and had no flavor if i could do 0 starts i would was the worse food i had

The lady that helped us was not very happy and lowkey had an attitude and was super quiet. There rice had long of hard pieces and was weird. They were like basically closing up when we got here at like 4:10, and all the tables were already up. ALSO they didn't have dr.pepper which just made me mad. Honestly i just like moes better.

Drive the extra 5 min to chipotle.Salsarita's used to be good but going downhill. Rice is crunchy, steak tastes like it's made in a crockpot and the portions are getting smaller and smaller while prices go up.

The rice was hard a piece stuck in my tooth my daughter wouldn't eat it either so that ruined our food.
Expected fresh quality food. My friend and I ordered the chicken bowl with salsa, queso and chips. Within 10 minutes of eating, we were both running to the bathroom. Not sure what is in the food but definitely not sanitary.

Not what I remember from other Salsarita experiences. The food quality is not here. Rice is hard and crunchy, fajija veggies are in huge pieces and way undercooked, steak is dry as a bone, toppings are in tiny quantity, portions are mediocre compared to other competitors. Only positive was the queso, guacamole, and soda.

The rice was undercooked, they barely filled my burrito bowl up halfway, and my side of guacamole was basically just a chunk of unripe avocado. Definitely not coming back.

First time trying it and it was awful. I've never seen smaller portions, even on a bowl with no meat they only put like 5 pieces of lettuce. All the meat was burnt. Reached out about the bad experience and never received anything back.
