If you really do want the best fried chicken, look no further! I got mine with the pimento cheese -YUM! My hubby is more a burger kind of guy, and he loves a good burger here. The potato salad, and the pickles add just the right balance. The food service gas station combo is a thing around here and we love exploring this unique set-up. This one is close to home, and when we take a break from farm chores, it just checks all the boxes.

Arrived to a dilapidated gas station and went in. The building was old and poorly maintained. Upon entering, I noticed an unsanitary dining room and a dirty wood counter area. What is the deal with these glowing reviews? After waiting a long time, they brought out different food that what I ordered. When asked for an explanation. "I forgot to tell you we don't have french fries". Hmm. A paper carton with a few potato chips /grilled cheese sandwich and a couple beverages. $18.00 "We make all our potato chip from scratch". Weak flex. Service is terrible. Don't do it.

Always excellent. Consistent. Fairly priced. Fried Chicken Sandwich is one of the best around. House made pickles 12/10.

Absolutely disappointing. Chicken sandwich was dry, barely any mayonnaise and the bun was burnt! Potato salad is bland at best. Pasta salad same. I have heard about this place and it's phenomenal food since I moved here 4 years ago. What a disappointment. Popeyes has a better chicken sandwich.

One of my favorite places in Asheville, and that's really saying something. The entire menu is great and I love all of the staff. They know me by name and are always so friendly! Sarah often draws little cartoons on the to-go boxes which really adds to the charm. I'd have never expected to find such a great restaurant in a gas station but I've never been disappointed.

This was my lunch one time but I mainly go at breakfast time and get the Grit cakes don’t pass those up omg they are so good!! Yesterday I had their chicken biscuit it’s huge one thing about this place is you definitely get quality and quantity over price and I haven’t tried anything I didn’t like!!! So Good!!

Good stuff. Great service. Busy yet quick. Want to try more things on menu. Will be back. Had Winners Burger and Reuben. Both are great, lots of flavor. The side of pickles were terrific. It's definitely worth stopping in for a bite to eat. I'm excited to go back for the breakfast menu. I want to try the burrito and a bowl.
