Came here to work a bit on my laptop. Great vibe. Wifi was a bit slow at times but overall worked. Had a latte w/lavender syrup which was good. Nice vinyl selection, a bit pricey for newer ones but they do have $5/$8 bins and even a free bin. Did manage to snag a Joni Mitchell from the $5 bin. Street parking right out front. Not too busy on a weekday.
This could be a winner if it operated with consistency of service and quality of food. I’ve been disappointed by the staff and service and food too many times to return. So sad because it’s a great space.
Not only is this a gem of a spot where you can see records being pressed while you sip on a cozy latte - Cheryl aka the Giddy Chick has taken over Sessions Cafe and made it next level!!! From the Falafel Waffle, to the personal sized quiche, the amazing egg Sammie to the curried cauliflower Buddha bowl, the hardest part is making a decision!!! Don’t sleep on dessert either - Cheryl ran the pastry program for the Inn @ Biltmore and before that the Ritz in both Chicago & NYC....
