My boyfriend and I were planning to have our second date here, but never ended up making it out. He's been joking for two years about how he never got a sandwich - so I finally gave in yesterday and drove from Arden to meet him for dinner.
Wow! It was incredible. He honestly undersold how good these sandwiches are. I had the vegetarian Bella - it was easily the best sandwich I've had in Asheville. Vegetarian options often feel like an afterthought - especially some places that just give you a sandwich of toppings. The Bella was super substantial - hot, flavorful, and absolutely packed with mozzarella. More than worth the drive and the money!
I can't believe I waited two years for this - we'll definitely be back soon!

I'd heard this was the best sub shop in town. I would say it is absolutely worth the hype! The staff was quick and friendly, the sandwich was delicious, and the inside has a really neat atmosphere. All of their fountain sodas are by Boynton Bottling Co; a small batch soda company which adds a unique touch. I'll definitely be back!

Great sandwich but wasn't worth half an hour pto it cost me for the delay. Better off to order at the counter instead of online. I left 20 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready...15 minutes after the guy said it would be 5 minutes when I got there.
I ordered 2 subs from here. The Lester and the country club, both were delicious! The meats and cheeses were sliced fresh and they do not skimp on fillings for their sandwiches. This is probably the best sub sandwich I've ever eaten. I will definitely be back!
