Smash is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! I ended up using them for EVERYTHING - catering, desserts, florals, and planning. Each one was absolutely amazing. For catering, we went with a buffet style and everything was soooo delicious. We got so many compliments on our food, from our appetizers to the actual dinner. We specifically got MANY compliments on the steak which was incredible. We also did our desserts through them and they were AMAZING. We did multiple desserts as well as a cake, and again received so many compliments on all of them, especially the sesame cookie which had such a unique flavor profile. Ashley, who owns and runs everything, is extremely responsive and helpful. I felt like multiple times they went out of their way to accommodate me but never made it seem like a big deal. My husband wanted a very specific type of hot dog for the late night snack, and they were able to do those. They helped to come up with mocktail ideas and the signature drinks they made were amazing. It was also very easy to book my plates, silverware, etc through them as well. My florals were gorgeous - I was not somebody who came in with anything very specific for florals, and what they created with very little guidance from me was beautiful. Finally, Dominique (planning) is amazing. She is the perfect mix of relaxed but directive. I never once felt rushed or lost or stressed, which I think is a true testament to her character, style, and actual planning. I was initially hesitant to book everything through them because it seemed too good to be true. But I have absolutely 0 regrets and I would do it 1000 times over. Thank you Smash to helping to put together the best night of my life.

Incredible - Book Smash!I am so happy we booked Smash Events for our wedding dinner! From the very start, Ashley was so nice and easy to work with. I knew I wanted a Family Style meal as a way of connecting everyone at tables and "breaking bread" so to speak. Not only did Smash do this wonderfully, it looked and tasted absolutely amazing. The little details did not go unnoticed by my husband and I, or our guests. We got so many compliments on how good the food was, and it can be hard to please 100 people and make sure all dietary restrictions are handled appropriately. Ashley and her team did all of that seamlessly. They also helped us pick out our settings, which were an absolutely dream! We went with the mismatched vintage plates and clear goblets, and It added such a nice tough to our reception. We got married on our farm which had no amenities so we started from the ground up and the results were just as we envisioned....magicalWe did a tasting with Ashley in March which she was able to accommodate our busy schedule. The food was so amazing in taste and presentation. We chose stations instead of buffet and were every happy with the choices and variety. There was something for everyone. We even had them cater our rehearsal dinner. They thought of everything and I would not have changed a thing. All the guest were thrilled with the food. The mac & cheese station was a big hitI was really nervous about the décor because we were starting with a basic tent but it turned out to be amazing. The floral team really bought to life exactly what we were hoping for and more! Many of my guests were so amazed by the transformation, as were we! (See photos) Oh and our bouquets were just beautifulI cant say enough good things about the entire organization. Professional, talented, organized, friendly and easy to communicate with. I can't write enough great things about my experience with Dominique as our wedding planner from Smash. From our very first call, her confidence made me feel comfortable. I'm a very organized and detail oriented person and basically wanted a me at the event to make sure everything was flowing smoothly. This lady is a super woman! She did exactly that. Don't be fooled by her petite size. She may have a gentle voice but is very clear in what needs to be done. She was amazing at getting everyone together and moving everything along timely - even with the not so punctual people. ;) She helped me in times of crisis, reviewed my contracts, even reminded me to think of things i had forgotten about and so much more. I planned the wedding myself so it was important to me that everything went as I hoped. And thanks to her, it did! I actually was able to enjoy my wedding stress free because I knew that "Dominique has got this!". She had backup for backups, never made me feel judged on any of my choices or costs, and provided her honest opinion without being condescending or rude. I loved that because sometimes I just needed another set of eyes on things. I can't recommend her enough. When I gave her a hug good bye at the end, I felt like I was hugging my sister. I am excited to be see her again next time I'm in Asheville!
