This is still one of the cheapest places to get a combo meal with a wide variety of choices. The app is very easy to use, and I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes once I get there and check in before our food comes out. I love their desserts, and they have probably the best strawberry shake I've had in a while.

I don't go to Sonic's because of bad food. Someone told me their smash burgers at this location were good. Unfortunately, I tried it. It was inedible. It looked like they cleaned their grill off into my burger along with a deadly amount of salt. So, for lunch, I got to eat some tater tots and a few sips of sweat tea for $13.00. I feel like my money was stolen. NEVER AGAIN.

This Sonic gave us two orders of the puniest looking fries I've ever seen and a cheeseburger for $13. Needless to say we won't be going back.

I’m really disappointed with my recent visits to Sonic. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake milkshake and a cookie dough Sonic Blast- on 2 separate occasions and both were undrinkable. They smelled and tasted like the milk was spoiled. It completely ruined the experience, and I couldn’t even finish them. For the price, I expected much better quality and freshness. This has made me seriously reconsider coming back.

What does it take to get a hot, fresh cheeseburger? Been here twice since reopening and both times received ice cold cheeseburgers. What's up Sonic???

Food is great staff is friendly would get 5 stars on everything if they'd sell canned drinks. ( Like all Asheville does during the boil notice) as a substitute for these drink that comes with the meal

Meh. Items on the menu had changed in their composition (cheddar n' peppers are now just a run of the mill jalapeno popper) that came out like warm and soggy. Burger was average and the chicken tenders were the saving grace. Ordered a Rte 44 water, which used to be a $1, got a $2.19 bottle of water with no hint of substitution by the drive thru staff. Definitely not stopping on the way back to the hotel again.

Reopened on October 24, 2024 with a far more modern version with the aggressive red and blue colors. Unfortunately, it is no longer a drive-in type restaurant that SONIC is known for all those decades ago, but the renovated “dine-out” section looks more breathable ever since the shade was removed. Good thing the legacy of a “sit-n-order” machine is still alive like the good old days.

Kid-friendliness: SONIC is known for their Wacky Pack Kids Meal which ultimately comes with a Toy.

Reopened in October 2024 with a new modern remodel. The service and food were both great. Drive thru didn’t take too long. Glad to have them back in the neighborhood.
