This is such a hidden gem and its amazing!! My wife had their Goat cheese smashburgers with pickled onions and lemon aruglua and it melts in your mouth...i had their Chicken entree which was soooooo good you cant go wrong trust me every bite so juicy good quauilty food...my mother in-law had their French dip which you can see is very good size portions. I havent even got to tell you all the Duck spring rolls🦆are a Must...by the time you all read this we already been back there ....enjoy!!!

The husband and I went to South Paw yesterday and just loved it. We sat at the bar and Lexi was our server. She's so sweet and even let us sample a liquor that comes in an unusual bottle. We met the owner, Dan, and chatted with him a bit. He was very nice and personable.
Of course, we had to order the ahi tuna nachos and they did not disappoint. Steve feels the eel sauce has a bit of honey in it and even suggested covering wings in that sauce. Maybe we will see it as an option one day.
Based on a friend's review, I ordered the French dip and I'm glad I did. So delicious! Next time, I'll ask for the hand cut fries extra crispy. The flavor was great, I just like 'em crispier.
My husband ordered the wings and they were BIG and juicy! JUMBO! He enjoyed them.

I took a picture of the women's bathroom because it was one of the nicer ones I've been in. The restaurant is larger than we thought and it only looks empty because we were there around 3 pm. We will definitely be back.

My family has been here 2 times now. The People working are awesome. The good is incredibly delicious and the menu options make it hard to choose because everything sounds good and so far everything is. There isn’t a lot of parking so if they are busy be prepared for that. Southpaw is definitely one of our FAVORITES in the area. You won’t be disappointed. Heck the first time we went the waiter said he usually is the one cooking so now he is our favorite waiter and our favorite cook.

South Paw is an absolute gem on the south side of Asheville! We had such a wonderful time here — everything from the service to the atmosphere was spot on.
The food was the real star. The scallop dish was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully plated. And the ahi tuna nachos? Out of this world. Fresh, vibrant, and the kind of appetizer you’ll be thinking about long after you leave.

Nice place to stop in and grab a bite in the area. It was after 10pm when I visited so not much else was open other than fast food. Glad I searched/found this place, drove a little and ate here instead. Food was great! Came out quick and the server was friendly. What more could you ask for?

We had the best time ever! Table reserved in advance. 5 adults and three picky girls. We devoured everything. No to go boxes. Every order was delivered correctly, every dish looked amazing and cooked to perfection. Our server Lexi was new but she was a rockstar. Oh! The desserts!!!! As you can tell from the pictures the desserts were amazing! I personally recommend this newer establishment. And cooks threw in down!!!
