We dined here for lunch back-to-back days. Servers both days were very knowledgeable and friendly. They also shared some of the history of the restaurant. The booths are placed in the original horse stalls. The iron work, subway tile and brick floor are all original too. The second story is the old hay loft. My wife had the trout BLT both days. So good. I did the chicken salad Day 1 and hamburger Day 2. Both were excellent.
Always a pleasurable experience!! We'll be back! Our server Sara was awesome and super sweet.
I got a BLT with smoked trout. It was very good but could use more dressing. Service was weak but passable.
The service was very on point and the food was nice and tasty. The bruschetta was very tasty and the meatloaf was excellent. The BBQ sauce on the meatloaf had a nice vinegar tang, the potatoes were cooked perfect along with the green beans. The serving was large and we were able to split the meal.
We've been going to the Biltmore for years and every trip we eat at The Stables. This year as usual, the service was spot on! However, what has happened with the portions and food quality? I can remember when the sampler was enough for 2 people to eat & actually served on a gorgeous platter showcasing the food. The tin plate that was brought to us was so mediocre, especially for the price! The potatoes for our chicken were also so overdone. We did not complain as it appears this is the standard now. But if def makes me rethink the food choice.
Service and food was excellent!! Ask for Cody he had terrific suggestions and very personable. We tried the cornbread and it was delicious 😋
Wonderful service and attention to our requests. Good variety of food and quality. We will be back!
Highly recommend dining here while visiting Biltmore Estate. Food is very good and the staff are very attentive and helpful.
The food and service were not exceptional! Thank you Cody for a memorable experience. We loved the cornbread appetizer, our cocktails, and Southern food.
Great location, friendly staff and good food. Perfect place when visiting Biltmore House or Gardens.

We enjoyed our server very much. She was helpful and knowledgeable. Her name was Victoria. The room is large and loud. The food is very tasty. The cocktails were good but not great. The prices were outrageous! $19 for a Bloody Mary!! Really?? Ok!
Wonderful Ambience and quick service but food quality is below average. Chicken salad sandwich and pulled pork were both subpar but soup was good.
Service was ok. Asked for salad dressing on the side. Salad came predressed and was drenched in salad dressing. Very hard to eat. The server never came back to check on us till the end. Food was ok good, but $23 for a side salad with a scoop of chicken salad was a bit high in price.
Great service, beautiful space, bad food. Thankful what we ordered was not super expensive because none of it was great. Chicken was so dry it stuck to our mouths. Pork sandwich had the same problem (even covered in sauce). “Mashed” and fried golden potatoes were not mashed (just sliced) and super cold. Mac and cheese was bland. The only thing we loved was the cornbread appetizer.
I had the soup special, which was nice. I also had the Strawberry Salad and my husband had the pork sandwich with lukewarm fries. Both were just OK. It almost seemed as very little dressing was on the salad, so it had very little flavor. Our server was great, however.
