We've been getting a carry-out pizza from Standard almost every year since we began traveling to Asheville back in 2014. We agonized a bit about visiting this year given the catastrophic impacts from Helene late last year, but decided it would be OK ATC since responsible tourists' dollars might be duly welcomed within the community. The pizza I picked up there was as awesome as ever, and I savored each slice while chomping down at the table in our rented cabin at Willow Winds! We'll definitely keep Standard on our must-do list for all future trips! :-)

100/100 recommend this pizza! My family is super picky when it comes to pizza and this place did not disappoint! They cooked our 2 pizzas in 15 minutes & gave us great recommendations on which pizzas to try. The crust was delicious! Plus it was a really neat place with games and a decent beer selection.
Spaghetti was oily and sauce was dry and sparse, more like a garnish. The meatballs were good.

We were planning to just grab a slice, but once we got there, we ended up with a calzone-huge and delicious with a perfectly crunchy bottom to give just enough texture, a 14 inch white pie, and spinach salad (a side). We added the salad onto the white pizza and was delicious. Games looked like a lot of fun and outdoor seating is great this time of year!

The pizza by the slice is very affordable and the slices are HUGE. There are multiple vegetarian options available. There are two small parking lots that can be used. They have a lot of indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well. They have a shuffleboard, table tennis/ping pong, and foosball available as well as cornhole. It seems like a cool place to hang out with friends and family. I will definitely be back and highly recommend going.

Pizza was mediocre. The gluten free that everyone was raving about was very standard, and was 13” not 14”. My partner had the regular 14” pizza and the visual comparison was pretty sad. I was hopeful for this place but it let us both down.

I ordered a standard 14” with sausage, pepperoni, ham, and meatball slices, this pizza was absolutely incredible. The dough was just right, the under carriage was perfect. What makes this place a great choice overall are the fun games available, ping pong, shuffleboard. Great atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back for some more pie!
