A delightful place, excellent service, and good prices. I had some dumplings and for the main dish, the Kan Pu Gi chicken. To drink, a Japanese Kirin Ichiban beer. Both dishes were spectacular!
The food is delicious but the times ive came here ive had the same server and its a women and she is extremly rude. Makes the restaurant not good. She was very rude to me and my boyfriend.
I love this place. Whenever I visit Asheville, I try to stop by for lunch or dinner.
A real delight. Sat outside with our puppy.
First time here after wanting to try it for a while and it did not disappoint. Exceeded expectations. Service exceptional, food was some of the best I’ve had in AVL in a long time.
I discovered this new intriguing dish that I wanted to try called Kimchi. I did a little research discovered It was a korean dish. I discovered I don't think I've really actually tried much Korean. Did a little more research realized you actually have to try to find an actual Korean restaurant around here? Found one not actually far from where I'm staying! They serve kimchi, it was actually a great dish. I got the kimchi pancake which actually ended being the size of a pizza made from a style of fermented vegetables, and a seafood kimchi stonebowl! I was Pleasantly surprised five gold stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would highly recommend. This place was great!!! Welcome to a hyperfixating and fulfilling an ADHD brain! But it's all in the name of adventure and good food! #foodbuddyadventures
Whenever I’m in the mood for a comforting bowl of hot seafood soup with tofu, Stone Bowl Korean Restaurant is my go-to. The food is consistently delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. I truly enjoy my experience every time I dine here.
Not a lot of vegan options and what they do have isn't great. There are better Korean option in the area.
Great food

A really fun place for a quiet meal. The sides with your food are amazing and always vary depending on what is on hand. And while it is the name of the place I definitely recommend any of the Stonebowls! It’s my favorite comfort food on cold days in the winter and I think the price is well worth the food.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I had a misunderstanding with the waiter, but the way they handled it was beyond unacceptable. I specifically mentioned that I’m gluten-free, but they still brought me soup with gluten noodles. I assumed they would substitute it with rice noodles, as that’s a common practice in most decent restaurants.
When the soup arrived, I politely informed the waiter that I couldn’t eat gluten and wouldn’t eat the soup, as I hadn’t even touched it. I asked for a replacement, but instead of accommodating my dietary restriction, the waiter rudely responded, “That’s your problem, you have to pay for the soup,” and then walked away without offering any solutions.
The service was absolutely horrendous. They didn’t care about my dietary needs or the mistake they made. The staff here clearly doesn’t care about their customers at all. If you have any dietary restrictions, be prepared to be treated like it’s your fault. You’ll be forced to pay for food you can’t eat, and they’ll just shrug and tell you it’s not their problem before walking away.
I will NEVER come back to this restaurant again. Avoid this place at all costs if you value basic respect and decent service.

Entering Stone Bowl what initially strikes you is how clean and neat it is with minimalist decor and spacious table surface areas. There is soft music and a very calm atmosphere prevails. The staff greets you and you’re seated right away.
After ordering your meal starts arriving shortly thereafter and is nutritious in every way macro wise and low in fat. There is something on the menu for everyone and the flavors are pure ecstasy!
A very enjoyable experience and prices are good for the quality and quantity of food that comes with the meal.👍🏻
