Never been there, so can’t really comment
The food and cocktails are amazing! The service is very hot or miss. I've gone twice now and the first night we waited 25 minutes for the bartenders to even acknowledge us. The second night there was a different staff on duty and they couldn't have been more attentive. Definitely recommend this spot for drinks and snacks in AVL! Loved the atmosphere too.

Amazing place with great service. Will go back here again. The smash burgers were fantastic. The meatloaf is some of the best I have ever had. Love their cerviche. I am very finicky about my cerviche and this was over the tip goodness. Go here you will not be disappointed.

The new late night menu is straight up horrible. Wasnt even executed well. I'm shocked at how bad and how far of a fall this place has taken. Breaks my heart. Brought a group of people who all love rhum over the years and 3 new people, and the people that knew it were talking it up all night. But after we were apologizing the rest of the night and when we brought it up to another group of friends they all also expressed misery at how bad the late night is now. The owner keeps leaving snarky comments on recent reviews, save it, it looks worse than the reviews themselves lol. Just listen to your fans.

Come on guys what happened to your great food menu
I used to love to late night dining with you guys and now your menu is so limited and not very appealing food options for vegetarian or vegan .
Sad cause I know you guys have had decent food in past .
Sorry I can't reccomend atm.

This is my first ever non-five star review. Three of us went here last week one evening for a drink. Our bill was about $45. I crossed out the tip amount and wrote CASH on the receipt. We then left a nice tip in cash. The “bar” then proceeded to add another $10 tip on my credit card by manually entering it. Seems like credit card fraud to me. Would not go back. If you’re a customer, please check your credit card receipts and match to what your statement shows.

The most amazing collection of rums (and rhums) I've ever seen. Also great cocktails and bar food made with care and creativity.

Food is always great, as are the cocktails. Massive drink menu. My favorite burgers come from this place. Service is usually pretty good. The outdoor seating area is nice. This is the absolute place to go after a show at the Orange Peel.

Walked in on a self love night. I was greeted at the door and asked where to be seated. I chose to sit in the bar near the window. Max greeted me in a friendly manner with some water, I ordered the rhum cocktail. Max helped with a few selections as I’m also gluten intolerant(menu states dishes can be altered for allergy) I ordered shrimp ceviche. The drink and food paired perfectly together as they both had a spice to them. Overall service was great, food was quick and delicious, ambiance was calm and cozy.

Storm Rhum is such a local gem. My only complaint is that they aren’t open earlier every day. They may keep hours focused heavily on the night owls but their food and cocktails are definitely work staying up for. The fancy PB&J and garlic butter popcorn are two items I think about on a weekly basis.
Vegetarian options: Not very many vegetarian options
Parking: There is a parking garage very close by, an even closer paid lot, and free street parking if you’re lucky
Kid-friendliness: Definitely more of an adult / service industry vibe but not at all a dive bar

This was a great place for pre-dinner drinks and snacks. Super cool vibe and lots of rum options. We had the pimento goat cheese and deviled eggs and both were amazing!

Check out the fried bologna, pickled asparagus, with a soft boiled egg and adorable, edible flowers for garnish. It's a beautifully delicious snickety snack! The duck pho'rench dip is delectable and juicy. Their craft cocktail list is mouth watering. Pictured here is the pink smoke beverage. It's such a funky, chill vibe. The patio is pretty at night, when it's lit up. Each menu is filled with originality. Brandon is a magical bartender, but I definitely missed Charlie with all his fun sass. Jay, thanks for always making food fantastically fun and having a superior kitchen crew! Support locally owned restaurants.
Dietary restrictions: They accommodate dietary restrictions. They aren't rude or pretentious about it.
Parking: Street parking is available for free, after 6pm.
Kid-friendliness: It's suitable for everyone, until late night.
