Food was good, service was absolutely amazing, and the employees were social and an absolute blast to hang out with. From talking about similar hobbies to making jokes together. By far the best atmosphere I've been in while in any restaurant in the avl. I'll still say bring soju to the bar and to the bar tenders who served me tonight "thank you" hope you remember the conversation and get the joke?? But definitely the best spot I've been in as a Korean ? To the owner and his son, keep up the great work and hope you bring some bang for your buck but also great options. Definitely going back here. Hoping to be a regular based on the service and atmosphere alone?

I want to know where they source their vegetables from because every vegetable we ate there tasted fresher than the grocery store. We had the spicy salmon roll, the fresh roll, a green salad, drunken noodles, and the hor mok "curry custard". The salmon roll tasted very fresh, it was wonderful. The fresh roll and the green salad were plated artistically, very Instagram worthy. The drunken noodle were addicting. The hor mok was very fresh tasting as well.

Hands down the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Way overpriced for a tiny amount. Bland, and the beef was gray and rubbery. I ordered a lunch portion of “Pad Z Ew.”

I just went here for a birthday party the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time! They dimmed the lights so we could light birthday candles! And the manager asked us how we liked it. Super fun experience and the sushi was really good!

We live locally and have eaten in and gotten takeout from Suwana several times...every experience has been a little different, to be honest. Their sushi is consistently good though once it was really gorpy. We got dinner to go last night...sushi, curry and green salads. Opened the salad containers only to find two servings of TOTALLY brown lettuce...all of it was rotten...how on earth could a reputable restaurant let such food out their door especially when it's such an inexpensive item to make? One tomato slice, one piece of cuke and the rotten iceberg. We are not snobs but when you pay a decent price for something and it's spoiled, it's maddening. I sent them an email and a photo but don't expect anything to come of it...nor do I suspect that we will be going there again. We love supporting local businesses of all kinds so as regular customers, this was pretty disappointing. We just made our own salads at home :)

Visiting and was recommended to try this place as it was by the hotel. Very good recommendation! Service was prompt, personable and just very good. Decor is welcoming, comfortable. The food was great and I loved being able to adjust my spice level through the provided spice jars brought to table. I had the pad Thai , vegetarian, and it was cooked perfectly. Spouse had the red chicken curry and loved it. Definitely a good choice!

We decided to stop here for dinner. We had been to the previous restaurant that was there but hadn't tried this place yet. We were very impressed. The hostess was very welcoming. We got sat at a booth and had time to look over the menu. Then the gentleman came over to get our drink order. We got sweet tea and water. They were served in nice glassware and the tea was great. We ended up ordering the yellow curry and the hibachi chicken. Both were great. I had gotten a salad with my hibachi. I didn't ask about dressings and it was brought out with ginger on it. Which I do not care for. I had then asked the lady providing refills for some ranch if they had it. She spoke with our waiter who then came over and asked what I didn't like. I told him I wasn't aware of the ginger and I'm not a fan of it. He then told me other options, I chose one and he picked up my salad and proceeded to make me a whole new one. Which was very nice. He could have just brought me some sauce out and called it that. Once I had my new salad it was very good. Then our meals came out. My husband had the yellow chicken curry and mine was the hibachi chicken. They were both great. We really wanted to get some sushi but our appetites were not big at the time. But we will definitely be back to get some, as well as try some other dishes.

Save your money and your time. We waited 30 minutes to just get water and left. I’m sorry 30 minutes to get water? No thank you and they even said our food could take up to an hour and a half. That is no ideal, when I say the food that was being served to other patrons was coming out late and not in order dishes were getting mixed up. If you’re gonna upwards of $40 USD for food it better be good looking and not dry looking and crusty. I’m sorry but this place scores low on the places to eat. The inside was even sad looking and dull. There’s more design in a Panda Express than there was in this place. The service was horrible and didn’t acknowledge us to even get a table for 10 minutes. Then when it was our turn someone came in and they sat them first when I said something they acted like it was my fault I was forgotten about. STAY AWAY!

Went with a family of 7 for Christmas dinner on the 25th. Location has plenty of seating and parking. My contact Bank was super courteous and super cool. He took our reservations as we were traveling from out of state. Food was tasty and service was on point even though they were super busy. I’ve saved this location to my favorites and hope to visit again when i am in townVegetarian options: Also can custom dishes for vegans if needed

I messed up my order and ordered at another location. They completely understood and fixed the miss understanding that was completely my mistake. It is a lovely small restaurant regardless of how my food turns out I will be returning and hopefully not make that mistake again. It was bussin!

I had eaten at Suwana's other location (downtown on Broadway) a few times, but this one was literally across the street from our hotel, so we gave it a try. I was very pleased with this one also. I started with an order of fresh rolls with peanut sauce--huge and had to take part of them home) Also a seaweed salad and for an entree the Chicken Stir Fry with brown rice. Their brown rice was more elegant and tasty than most. The stir fry was somewhat unique and very delicious. I had been hiking today, so I was plenty hungry and ate it all. Plus mango sticky rice for dessert. Service was friendly and attentive. We intend to return the next time we are in Asheville.
