Lindsey did our wedding cake and it came out even better than we envisioned! AND it was absolutely delicious-- not excessively sweet which is what we wanted. We were going for a vintage-y Vegas wedding theme and this totally nailed it. Just look at this gorgeous piping and height! The cherries and the little pearl sprinkle details!? Absolutely stunning! I can't get over it. Thank you Lindsey!

As soon I step on the door, the woman that was there she give me the nastiest look, I said “hi how are you, can I came in to place an order”, she looked at me head to toe and said “yeah whatever”. When I was about to get in she turned his back on me and said, “before that, when do you want the cake?” I told her, I knew the date was going to be very soon, but I wanted to give it a try. I'd been to two places before, but no one treated me like she did! I don't know if it's racism or what? But I'm sure of one thing: if you're Hispanic, don't go to this place!

We particularly loved the tiramisu cups and macarons. Lindsey was very easy to communicate with regarding changes to our order and scheduling drop off. Would highly recommend Lindsey for your wedding desserts or any other event!

We couldn’t have been more pleased working with Lindsey at Sweet Elegance! We did a cake tasting 6 months before our wedding date and immediately knew we wanted to work with Lindsey. She’d made light and refreshing cake options - just what we wanted for our late June wedding. We were so confident in her that we paid her in full right away. I had an example of a very specific “look” for a three -tiered wedding cake. Lindsey not only delivered on replicating just what I wanted but upon delivery, she placed the flowers perfectly AND the cake was absolutely scrumptious, just as we’d experienced at our tasting. Closer to our wedding date, we realized we’d not yet made arrangements for a rehearsal dinner dessert so we naturally reached out to Lindsey and crossed our fingers she’d be able to help. She happily made us a variety of dessert options that had guests raving. Since my new husband and I couldn’t help ourselves and ate some of the top tier on our honeymoon, we hope to have Lindsey replicate our wedding cake on our first anniversary :)

We just finalized our cake tasting and picked our wedding cake. Lindsey is a GEM. We drove nearly 12 hours from south Florida to Weaverville for these incredible samples. Patient, kind, warm, incredibly durable (given the insane recent storm); as the groom of this wedding, I cannot overemphasize how pleased I am. Took us nearly thirty minutes to decide which of the 3 cake combinations we wanted: we couldn’t decide!

Cake tasting was tons of fun and we are so happy with our flavor choice. So happy in fact, as I said earlier, I still think about our cake. I wish I could eat it every year.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. This is the 2nd time they have done gender reveal cupcakes for us and we couldn’t be happier. Everything was a breeze- from ordering to pickup, it was exceptional. The cupcakes were beautiful and tasted even better….I usually never like store bought sweets bc the icing taste weird but that’s not the case here. Highly recommend sweet elegance for any of your sweet treats!

I ordered a birthday cake for my granddaughter. I picked up the cake at 11:30 the cake was decorated nicely the party theme was paw patrol. The party didn't start until 6:00 o'clock everyone loved the way the cake looked but when we cut the cake it was dry and hard and it didn't taste like butter cream it was a two tier cake chocolate for the top vanilla bean for the bottom and it all went in the trash the top of the vanilla cake was burnt and nobody ate the cake 200.00 hundred dollars in the trash. All it was good for was pictures. I would only recommend her cake's for pictures nothing else. Just a follow up Yes you did tell me to keep the cake at room temperature and only put leftovers in the refrigerator because of the cake would be hard this cake that I picked up at 11:30 set at room temperature for 6 and a half hours plenty of time for the cake to be thawed out and madam I am not a liar this cake was burnt and I do not appreciate being called a liar. And it did not taste like buttercream. And I know I am not going to be getting a refund or anything of any value for what I paid for this cake so why would I send you an email for you to tell me there's nothing you could do and that you were sorry when I want people to know about this experience I had with one of your cakes that's why I left a review and not an email.
