I came here with a group of 8 and had reserved a table. Our waitress had long curly black hair with bangs and heavy eyeliner. Off the bat she had an attitude when my friend asked for a mock tail. We all said we were ready to order plenty of times but our order was not taken until an hour after arrival. When anyone said “Thank you” to her she would say nothing back. When I was asking her a question, she interrupted and asked how the bill would be split; We told her it’d be separate and she rolled her eyes and walked away. Everyone at my table acknowledged how incredibly rude she was and clearly unprofessional. When the bills came around we learned that they already pre-tipped 20%. So we then realized she didn’t have to be nice due to the fact she’d already be getting our money against our consent. The food was delicious but she made my birthday dinner extremely unpleasant. Very small space, would not recommend.

the food here is good, but the service is horrible, our server was very rude and rarely checked in on our table. this is the worst service i have ever gotten, and for this place to be so expensive the service should be great. buffets have better service than here. I recently visited table and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, and it took an unusually long time to even get acknowledged. Once I finally received service, the staff came off as unprofessional and uninterested in addressing my concerns. To make matters worse, the wings I received was subpar, not at all worth the price. I had to follow up multiple times to get a resolution, and even then, the issue was handled poorly. I had high expectations based on the reviews but this experience fell far short. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless some major improvements are made to both customer service and quality control.

first off its so small people are 2 feet away from each other.
the food was meh at best.
the hamburger i ordered was hardly cooked had cheese sauce greasy onions both fried and sauted..the bottom bun was soggy and gross.the salad had seeds or something in it that was the same as chewing on glass really hard seeds of some sort the chocolate cake was clearly from a box.very dry.my sprite was empty most of the time.the whole bill came to 153$ plus tip I left 200$ that's after sending the burger back because there was still blood leaking out of it.the Japanese milk bread was absolutely amazing and the highlight of the meal.

I ate here years ago when visiting Asheville and it was amazing. The server was fantastic, the food was great. The whole experience was so pleasant and memorable that I couldn’t wait to come back to Asheville and try it again. My most recent experience was not at all what I remembered… Except for the bread.
5/5 stars for the cultured bread!
Our server seemed like he was annoyed that we were there… From the time I walked in the door until the time we left, he was unpleasant.
My friend and I had a full conversation about how we both wanted small appetizer type food and then we would split the larger dish. We had the whole conversation with the server and he still forgot my friend’s appetizer. When we asked about it, he acted like it was our problem and we were inconveniencing him by even asking about it.
I don’t need to be pampered… But our server acted like he would rather be anywhere else than at work. Table won’t be a stop for me on my next visit to Asheville.

We had a great time at Table. The staff was attentive and kind. The oysters were perfect. Sometimes oysters aren’t cleaned properly but these were and the taste was spot on with the mignonette. They had wonderful recommendations like the dark chocolate sorbet which was fantastic and made in house. Quiet place for a casual dining experience.

We stumbled upon Table in Asheville after being denied at another restaurant down the street. Table was able to seat us immediately even with out a reservation on a Saturday at 730, truly a miracle. The host was so personable and provided a warm welcome like talking to a friend. Our waiter was great and had many amazing recommendations. The food was absolutely divine. The cocktails top tier!! The It a Peach Cocktail is something you do not want to miss! A perfect blend to tingle every taste bud you have! The devil bombs from the bar menu were a burst of flavor you aren't expecting but definitely want more! The bread... probably the best bread, It's warm, soft, fluffy, fresh and absolutely everything you would want in a loaf of bread. DO NOT SKIP THE BREAD! Our entries were the chicken and dumplings and the hanger steak ! The steak was full of flavor perfectly cooked and tender! The dressed fresh greens on the steak and purple potato's were a match made in heaven making each bite a delightful flavor dance in your mouth! The chicken and dumplings were a different take , such a pleasant surprise. The gravy with the moist flawlessly cooked chicken was something to experience on its own!

Ordered the sea bass. The veggies and sauce were extremely salty and I usually love salty.
We dined with a large group of 8 for a special occasion. The restaurant was very helpful and accommodating scheduling the reservation and seating. It was a Monday evening so the restaurant was not crowded. The menu was interesting and the food was tasty, fresh, well prepared and well presented, although not anything super-extraordinary. The service was relatively attentive. For a restaurant of this caliber and price point, I was somewhat surprised that no one from the kitchen or house management came over to see how our meal was going, despite the restaurant being relatively non-busy. Desserts were exceptionally enjoyable. I would say this one of a handful of very good restaurants in Asheville, but not one of the truly exceptional ones.
Parking: Metered spots on the street as available, or a short walk from the Rankin Street Municipal Garage 2 blocks away.

Table never disappoints and continues to be top notch! We called 4 different downtown restaurants tonight to try to get a table for two and they were all booked up… so we just figured we’d try to walk into table… they were able to seat us immediately! The service and staff were great… but the food was next level! The tuna crudo was to die for! The squashes were delectable! We shared the chicken for an entree and it was amazingly delicious! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and composition was creative and inspired. Can’t wait to go back :)

Yesterday we went to this highly recommended restaurant with high expectations. Service was awful, scattered, everyone got their meal at different times. Nothing was outstanding. We asked for a mussel vinaigrette and there were literally 4 mussels in the plate, tiny ones by the way. Food was underseasoned. The outdoor patio was poorly ventilated and was extremely hot to be offered as a seating option. We were all profusely sweating. I don't know what is about these pricey places that once they get recognition they drop the ball majestically! Would not recommend it!
Update 06/09/24:
Response to management feedback to my review.
Mr. Knighten,
Thank you for your message and for appreciating our honest feedback.
I understand that controlling the outdoor temperature in early July is beyond anyone's control. However, we appreciate your commitment to conveying to guests that your outside patio is located outside.
Regarding the feedback on the food and service, I don’t appreciate the condescending tone. Trust me, I wasn't expecting a bowl of mussels as you suggested, but neither was I expecting a mussel vinaigrette (understanding vinaigrette as salad dressing, if my French is not incorrect) as a component of the dish as described and highlighted in you menu, featuring only 4 tiny mussels. Clear menu descriptions and server explanations are important, and we appreciate your acknowledgement of that without blaming your patrons for the “misunderstanding”.
We're pleased to hear that you value feedback as a constructive tool for your staff, even if at times I am not sure if you truly value the feedback or are trying to comeback at me with a sarcastic and condescending tone. It's important for me to share my experiences, and hopefully your management will truly learn how to gladly hear and appreciate an opinion, even if not favorable.
Thank you for making a note in your reservation system. It's reassuring to know that our party will be taken care of should we decide to give Table another chance.
Best,
Iara

We had one of the best dinners in quite a while at Table a few nights ago.
Started with 2 items from the Appetizers list - Heidi's bread (delicious, a Japanese bread our server told us) and the Gem Lettuce Salad. I don't normally think much about salads - they're just salad. This, however, was possibly the most delicious and beautiful salad I've ever had. A wonderful combination of flavors beautifully presented.
I had the grilled pork shoulder which was terrific. My wife had the small bigoli & chicken meatballs. I had a small taste and loved it. Pasta was definitely al dente.
We finished with a wonderful piece of cheesecake.
Hadn't been there since way before they moved to the new location, but it's definitely on my "come back" list.
