Worst service from any restaurant that we’ve ever visited. Went on 8/22/24 right around 7pm for our anniversary after driving from Hickory. We got up and left after waiting for over an hour and still no beer or margarita, even though there were two bartenders on duty and the restaurant was nearly empty….one customer at the bar!! Place was dirty too, 94 health grade. Corporate needs to take a serious look because this is a beautiful restaurant in a prime location near Biltmore.
In January I was in town and ordered as room service and it was great. Tonight we visited the dining room and Jasmin was one of the best waitresses I’ve had, and the food and drink were great as well!

We were traveling and have liked this place before. It was an average meal. Nothing special about it.

This was one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to. Service was slow and terrible, food was cold, took forever, and was not good. Don’t eat here. You can spend your money else where and have 10x better experience.

I ordered through Uber eats and the delivery was smooth and on time, but the food was awful. The ribs and wings were so dried out that it was tough and hard to swallow. This use to be our family's favorite place to eat, I will never spend $68 for two people to eat there again! I complained to Uber eats and they refunded my money, but it took 7 days. I called TGIF and the Manager did apologize and took my name and number down so when I wanted to come back she would re-cook our entire meal for free. I went two days later and right when they opened and the food was better. I guess it was because it was dinner that it was so awful, IDK, I just wouldn't recommend anyone purchase food you can't check or after lunch hours! I will not eat there again!

I got the shrimp pasta with chicken and everything was raw, gave me food poisoning for a week. Only reason I’m giving the service two stars is because the waitress was kind enough to take it off my bill. Do not recommend.

Went 2 early dinner(5PM) with friend after all day visit @ Biltmore. She asked 4 hot tea & was told" Sorry we don't have any!" We both ordered the chicken El pastor bowl. Counted 8 black beans, a few pieces of corn, 5 pieces of chicken, no noodles (as shown in pic) and rice. In fact had more rice than other food. So I would say place is good enough 4 quick bite & if u r at attached hotel it's OK.

This restaurant has declined significantly. I went to dinner here for Father's Day only to find the food to be inedible, the building to be in need of cleaning and repair, and service to be inattentive.

We had a terrible string of luck, which left us stranded in the TGI Fridays parking lot for the better part of an afternoon. The host and staff went far out of their way to help us out, make us feel comfortable, and accommodate our situation.

I ate here this evening with my 3 kids, 18,14, and 7. They are good kids and respectful, but tonight my teenage daughter spilled her Coke all over the floor and herself, and my youngest really didn't like the flavor of the Mac n' cheese... I thought it was really good but it's apparently a 4 cheese blend that didn't really appeal to a kid who's used to Kraft. Our server, Wade, was one of the best servers I have had at any restaurant, regardless of price point. He showed no annoyance at a spilled soda that he'd be later having to clean up... he just offered to bring a replacement and extra napkins as quickly as possible. Without hesitation, he offered to bring another side to my seven year old... the Mac n' cheese had been a substitution of regular kids menu side options in the first place, which Wade had been more than happy to oblige at the time we ordered. The air conditioning was not working this evening, and I know for a server hustling as much as Wade was he must have had much easier evenings doing his job than he had tonight. There was no indication of this in his demeanor, though. He was pleasant, prompt, and on-point. My teenagers work in a fine dining restaurant in Charlotte and both were also very impressed by the service and the decorum Wade demonstrated. The food was good for a casual dining chain. It was exactly as expected, a decent meal that doesn't break the bank when you're taking 3 kids on vacation. The service was superior, and I'd have felt terrible if I didn't use this platform to share that. Thank you Wade for taking such good care of my family this evening. You are most appreciated.

So. I called ahead and made a reservation for 11 ppl because it was the night after my son's graduation, he wanted to go eat so we chose this place. Called they said they could get us all in no problem. We all arrived at the designated reservation time. I gave the host my name and he said ok well our party tops are full so we don't have anywhere to seat you. I said sir we had a reservation he said I don't know what to tell you, I can seat y'all all at separate tables. So our party ended up getting seated at 3 different tables. ? so then our waitress comes K to begin she is great, she gets everyone's order correct gets everyone their food and drinks. But then it comes time to give checks, she had to split one big bill in to 3 smaller bills she brings the 3 bills to the tables and to our surprise she has added her own tip to each check. And may I add not just a tip a very Large tip to each check. Needless to say we will NOT be going back to TGI FRIDAY'S ASHEVILLE EVER AGAIN. And the entire time the manager is setting at a table across hall from us and doesn't lift an eye towards us!

What a disaster.... We are staying at a nearby hotel, walked to restaurant. Host was not to be seen but their BIG sign said wait to be seated.A worker, eating at the bar, eventually got up and was about to help us when the host showed.Host said we could eat at a table, in the bar, and enjoy "Happy Hour" specials. We opted for this, the bartender eventually got to our table, she said Happy Hour was only Long Island Iced Tea drinks, no beer, not wine, nothing else, and NO FOOD (appetizers) were on special.I wanted to leave but my wife suggested we stay and order. So we ordered.Chips and salsa for appetizerCheeseburger and fries, no tomatoes for me, and a cokeChicken dinner for my wifeThe bartender did not take notes...15 minutes later my Cheeseburger and fries arrived, with tomatoes. So my Cheeseburger was not as ordered. We never received our appetizer. My coke ran dry as the bartender was gabbing with other customers she seemed to be friends with.Eventually the bartender came over, asked if we wanted dessert, we said no thanks, just the bill. She left, gabbed some more, delivered a bill to booth right next to ours and left.Bartender then came back and asked if we were ready to pay. I said yes but she had not given us our bill yet.She apologized for this, left. Then she chatted more with her friends and eventually got us our bill.Overall the service was horrible. The bartender (any wait person) should write down customer orders, it's fine to visit friends as long as customers are being attended to.Restaurant was not overly busy, we arrived at 7:15pm, on a Thursday night. I now understand why the restaurant was not too busy.Poor staffing, poor service. Sad...

This place is abysmal. I stayed at the DoubleTree Biltmore and this restaurant is attached. To be honest I didn't know TGIF's was still in business, and with that being said I don't know how this one still is. Food was subpar, waited to be seated for 10 mins while the bartender saw myself and another party waiting. Then after the lady in front of me went to ask, she then looked for the hostess. She didn't come out right away and was aggravated that she had to do work. The overall appearance of the restaurant and the people working there is what I imagine the post-apocalyptic world is going to look like.

Was there tonight, May 25, and first off had to wait to be seated when they was no one there. I mean it wasn't like there was no seats available. There was 3 other families on the side we sat. Then our waitress who's name I haven't a clue did the bare minimum. We had to ask for refills after she walked by 3 times. Mind you the place was empty. Then when our food got there it was burnt. They brought me something I didn't order which they gave us and had to wait another 10 min on mine. So my family was done by this time. My wife's raspberry tea looked like they was making hooch out of it and one of my kids threw up before we left and WAS NOT sick before entering this restaurant. I know kods get sick but was this really an coincidence that she puked her food back up?? The whole family only 1 out of 5 didn't get sick and his food was fried food!! Overall we hadn't eat there in a long time now we remember why. We spent 117 dollars on basically trash food and service. Would not recommend to no one.
