A mixed experience for our first time here. A slow raining Monday night. Only one other couple when we arrived was seated. My wife had the Fresh catch which was salmon and it was excellent. I had the braised beef and had to send it back as meat was barley warm. It was fine when it was returned to the table. Also it was our anniversary and although the restaurant was notified ahead of time it was 57 years the hostess mentioned happy anniversary it was never brought up again by any of the staff. Were expecting more from an upscale restaurant.

The food was great! The service was slow at every table visit but overall was a good experience and such a cute place!

Great dinner at the Blackbird. I had the vegetable risotto and trout with 2 scallops. Apparently it is a signature dish and with good reason. My husband had seafood parlau, a cross between bouillabaisse and jambalaya and also delicious. We would definitely go there again.

We had a really great experience all around. Starting at the door, then the bar, and at the dinner table. Everyone was friendly and attentive. There were so many drinks and food items that we wanted to order, we couldn't decide. The ones we chose were wonderful. We started with the bone marrow, then proceeded to enjoy a duck entree, along with a trout/scallop risotto. Then a delicious peach dessert, with a pecan crust. yummm. Would recommend to anyone!

Atmosphere is a bit streamlined but the food and service are 5star all the way. Our server was a great menu guide, was there when we needed her but did not hover. Loved the brussels and pork chop, my guests ordered fish and duck - everyone was really happy. Cocktail/Wine service was prompt and had great options. We will be back next time we are in town...!

My wife and I have enjoyed our past meals here but last evening's dinner was unfortunately our last. We started with pull-apart french bread that was very good and we took the remaining home. The salads were good, arugula for my wife and the mixed green Caesar for me. Portions were very generous but too much dressing on mine. Our entrees were very disappointing. My wife ordered the seared duck breast. We are not fans of a meal in a bowl (I guess currently the rage) and the potato puree was smeared around the bowl as if a spatula was used. The duck was not hot, underdone and tough while the swiss chard was overly salty. I ordered a tenderloin steak that was very good but not hot. It came with roasted carrots and fingerling potatoes (not much taste and too many). I suspect both meals sat for a while before served. We have also enjoyed the coconut cake but it has changed. Now one gets a square piece of cake that is almost more icing than cake. Sad to see.

Absolutely fantastic! Scallops were perfect and so delicious! The Filet was very tender and seasoned beautifully!

The food delicious! Had the Greek omelette and need to taste other dishes from here. Best waitress named Jade! Above and beyond to made myself and my date comfortable. You can't put and price on excellent service! Very happy with my experience at the Blackbird restaurant.
