Sadly disappointed. Went there last week with my wife on a weekday night and the initial greeting and the food and the service were totally enjoyable. Couldn't wait to bring my entire family back.. Brought them all last night and I could not believe how long we had to wait for service, how long we had to wait for our food after we ordered it all. We finally got our appetizers, they were good. The entrees were cold, especially the short ribs which had no flavor. We tried...
I’ve eaten here a few times. Never been disappointed. The trout po’boy is very good and the Cuban is excellent. For brunch you can’t go wrong with the chicken and waffles. You MUST try their house made sorbet… my favorite is the Kiwi if they have it.
The restaurant is a part of The Restoration hotel but feels fairly separate.
Two of us had a late dinner. Started with the house Old Fashioned which was amazing, and the Smoke Tower (Mezcal, Amaro, Orange Curacao, Lime, Honey, Egg White) which might have been even better.
For food we chose to split the brussel sprouts, goat cheese fritters, and a mushroom risotto. The fritters were unusual and excellent, highlight of the meal (after the cocktails)....
