Good place to go eat. I think the seafood buffet is getting a little bit expensive for what they offer, but aside from that great place

Best buffet in Asheville. This restaurant is family owned and the food is wonderful, everything. Great salad bar and any meal is the best you’ll find anywhere. We are locals and we go all the time, lunch and dinner. Excellent home cooked food. You’ll enjoy!!!!

I really like this place. The food is on point. It reminds me of the kind of food your grandma would make for you after church if u grew up southern. I would post a pic but I already ate all my food.

Excellent service food and Gina is very friendly and we have never had a bad experience. We eat there frequently and have never had a bad experience. Their prime rib is second to none.

If your hours of operation are til 8 pm this typically means you are open and serve customers until 8 pm. We walked into the restaurant at 7:20 and it was 20 minutes before we were greeted and sat at a table. Yes we had a large party but had we been seated promptly and not waited 20 minutes we could've had ample time to be out of the restaurant by closing. Instead we paid almost $100 for service with a poor attitude. The cashier whom I think is the owners daughter was extremely rude and disrespectful. The buffet is now $30 and far from what you would expect to receive for the costs. I ordered a NY Strip and received a raw Ribeye but surprisingly the grill was off and my dinner was not touched. Total waste of money and time.

If you want good, southern comfort food, then The Firplace is definitely worth checking out. This place has never disappointed. It is a southern style buffet, salad bar and menu orders as well with a great selection. Warm smiles and good service equals out to a great, southern hospitality experience.

We had the BBQ buffet and the food was ordinary at best. On the bright side, the salad bar had an array of nice toppings. You must ignore the fact the lettuce was entirely iceberg. For "ayce" the pricing was good and no doubt you would leave feeling full. Perhaps ordering off the standard menu would be better?
