Are the drinks expensive? Of course. But the view is just unbeatable and the interior is spectacular Craftsman. Largest fireplace in America - there are actual two- one wood, one gas. Totally worth it.

The grilled cheesed sandwich is huge and is delicious! It comes with a cup of tomato soup and fries. If you are there at lunchtime, you can also order from the Sunset Grill menu, but I like the bar menu better!

A group of friends and I decided to stop into the great hall bar for a drink and to take in the beautiful view that Omni Grove Park Inn has to offer. The indoor area is beautiful with their two massive fireplaces with rocking chairs surrounding. If we had come during the winter months this would be where you could find me with a glass of wine and book in hand. They also had plenty of other seating inside so we weren't grappling for a table. Once we sat down we ordered a round of wine/cocktails and my husband and I shared the bourbon and banana pudding. Hands down one of the best banana puddings we have ever had. It has thick, creamy layers of banana pudding mousse, white chocolate whipped cream, bourbon caramel, and caramel crisps served with a side of nilla wafers. Because it was a warmer day we decided to sit outside to finish our drinks and take in the views. I cant think of a more relaxing, breathtaking spot to have a drink and to just chill. This spot should be on everyone's list when taking a trip to Asheville!

The is the historic lobby of the hotel and besides the bar and the view, the main events are the massive fireplaces. These fireplaces are literally big enough for an adult to stand in. The room has a cozy and inviting atmosphere even those it is a very large space. The only downside is that when it gets full in the evening it gets very loud and some of the coziness disappears, but luckily there are many other locations in the hotel if you are looking for a quieter setting.

This is all about the views! We hoped for a nice sunset on the terrace as we sipped cocktails but it wasn’t to be. It’s still beautiful even on a gray day and the terrace is heated. We chose to stay inside in some comfy chairs with high backs and relax. Nick poured us some drinks that were just right - the Botanical Crush and the Rum Chai. We thought we had to go back to the bar for round two but the wait staff was circulating the lounge as well. It’s not cheap but we didn’t expect it to be and you certainly get what you pay for here.

Been sitting here for 40 minutes with zero greeting from a waiter. I guess they want you to beg to pay for $32 cocktails or a $17 grilled cheese...it's absolutely ridiculous. Why not have more waitstaff & bartenders?

You can order at the great hall bar and eat/drink inside the lobby or outside on the terrace. The views of the mountains are incredible & the food and drinks are delicious! The charcuterie and wings were so delicious we had them 2-3 times during our stay for lunch. Warm crab dip is also another filling option to eat. For drinks the white Pinot Grigio is very refreshing for a sunny day and the red Syrah is warm & cozy for sunset or a late night drink. They have a special Makers Mark Whiskey made exclusively & only for Omni Grove Park Inn Resort. Pricey at $30 a glass but a special experience in an old fashioned. You can also order classic drinks not listed on the menu such as a Dirty Martini or a Bloody Mary with all the fixings. I highly recommend The Great Hall Bar for anyone visiting or staying at The Omni Resort!

I was in the Great Hall Bar in June , I was starved and ordered the pretzel bread and a beer . The service was great and the bread was delicious ! I really like the ambience in that space and the appetizers were wonderful. The Great Hall Bar makes the Omni Grove Park Inn the wonderful resort that it is !!!
