The Montford has a nice vibe and delivers an authentic chill bar feel. They make great craft cocktails. Stopped in just before closing time for a wind down beverage with friends before heading to the hotel room. Definitely a worthy spot if you on thus side of Asheville or staying at the Doubletree.
The atmosphere, the food, the music, the everything was wonderful!!! Not to mention our server Ambrose was PHENOMENAL! Such a personable server, and provided nothing but great recommendations. This was my first time in Asheville and I will definitely be recommending The Montford to any friends or family that come to visit - because the food and service was that exceptional! :)
Do yourself a favor and hit up The Montford Rooftop Bar! It’s on the 8th floor of the Doubletree Hilton in Asheville, NC, and you just hop on the elevator right outside the hotel’s main entrance. The weather was kinda meh during our visit, but the atmosphere was still awesome. It wasn’t crowded when we went, bc of the weather, but I’d prob make a reservation on a nice day.
