Run out of biscuits on a weekend by 1pm when that is over half of your menu loses business.
I ordered the quiche and salad to go. The lettuce was rotten. And not just a little. The person who made it MUST have known. Yuck. I used to love this place. It’s not the same anymore. Their heyday is over.
You never know what time this place will open. Sometimes there open and their sign says closed,Sometimes their closed and sign says open .I've waited over and over and 8:30 comes and goes and their not open. Employees walking around looking at you ,but they still don't open. It's a mystery to me !!

My wife was mad at me, so naturally, I took her to this cafe. One bite of their chocolate croissant, and she completely forgot we were even fighting. I’m convinced it saved our marriage. Now, every time we’re in Asheville, we come here—just in case! Best (and tastiest) marriage counseling ever! 10/10 would recommend.

As a French person it is rare to find a croissant and pastries that can bring me back to France. We tried the chocolate croissant and the almond croissant and both were incredible. We also had very good coffees. I recommend and will come back on my next trip to

I’ve many times over the years and the coffee is always on point and the breakfast sandwich is so delicious. Love the space and convenient if you’re downtown.

My fiancé and I came here for breakfast, specifically the gluten free breakfast. I had a gluten free biscuit which was the best one I’ve had. Not dry or crumbly like most gluten free bread products. I also had to try the gluten free raspberry and rhubarb pop tart which was absolutely delicious. Even my fiancé, who doesn’t eat gluten free, said it was good and couldn’t tell it was gluten free. Highly recommend for anyone, especially those with dietary restrictions. I also appreciated how they didn’t up charge me for the gluten free biscuit (which would usually be a $3-4 up charge anywhere else!). The staff were friendly, plenty of seating options, and everything tastes fresh!

I wish Charlotte had some of that food culture
Only thing I didn't like is that's the chicken served cold.. nobody wants to eat cold chicken.
But besides of that 10 out of 10

One of the best coffee shops I’ve been to not just in Asheville, but ever! The food is great whether you are looking for a hearty southern style breakfast or a sweet berry pastry. Coffee is great and the vibes are between a 10 and a 11.

Super cool shop with great pastries. Stopped for a late morning coffee and chocolate croissant. Both were amazing! Artfully presented cortado. Geat place to study or work with a large second floor.

Worst cafe I've ever been to. I waited 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich while I watched countless people who ordered after me get their food first. They only realized they had completely forgotten about me when they brought my partner her tuna salad sandwich and said they would "get started on" mine. Terrible attitude from staff and horrible service. Pick any of the other cafes in Asheville.

Be prepared to wait a long time in line for your drink. There were 2 people in front of me and I ordered 1 chai tea latte. Waited standing for 18 minutes in line before they called out my drink. Very confused what took so long. I also heard 2 different complaints about drinks while I was waiting in line. My chai latte was good when I finally got it though.
