Twisted Laurel Downtown Asheville

The restaurant was spotless and absolutely gorgeous inside. The staff was fantastic—super friendly, knowledgeable about the chef's creations, and checked in just the right amount throughout the meal. The food had such unexpected flavor combinations, and every single dish was so delicious! I'd 100% go back. And the best part? They're dog-friendly and even have a dog menu! As a dog mom, that completely stole my heart! 🐶💛

Christopher provided great service and we would return based upon his attention to detail. The food was great and would definitely recommend!

OK place, but nothing particular stands out. Typical overpriced in today's restaurant environment. Better choice is Melo Mushroom.

Very good wait staff! Fun ambience and vibe. Focaccia bread appetizer and lasagna were excellent.

My wife and I really enjoyed our entrees. She had the crab cakes and I had the chicken parm. Checked parm was done with vodka sauce which was a delicious change to marinara. It was our third dinner at Twisted and each one has been great.

Great location. Great patio. Great service. Definitely good idea to get a reservation. Food was only okay. Maybe we were there on an off night. I would go again and try the pizza next time instead of an entree.

We were seated at our reservation time of 530. We left at 545 because no had acknowledged our presence. Not even “Hey we're busy, be with you in a minute .” Sad because we have dined here before and loved it.

We had a great time and their pizza is delicious. It was very crowded due to an event at the Park, but the service was still good. Owe would go there again!

So happy we made a last minute decision to change restaurants! All four diners thoroughly enjoyed their meals, especially the outstanding focaccia. Our carnivore could not stop praising the meatballs, and the trout was perfectly prepared. It was also wonderful to be able to hear each other‘s conversations!

Everything was great except I had to send back my orecchiette twice because it wasn't hot. It was only coo or lukewarm at best. Once, ok, but twice?

I ordered the Carolina Trout - 1 fillet - and it came out with the smallest mashed potato and green bean side imaginable. If I had known that the sides scaled with the number of fillets I would have gotten 2. Like, it was not even a scoop of mashed potatoes - more like a schmear on the plate, and there were maybe 6-8 green beans. The portion sizing should have been much more clear. My children's meals of burger and chicken tenders were much more sizeable, but I had to order a salad to-go bc I was still hungry, and we did get an appetizer to share (the brussel sprouts were amazing). I don't think a $22 meal should feel so tiny.

Fun birthday dinner for our group of 6. Lots of drink choices and menu options including for picky eaters and gluten free. We will return!

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was also relaxed and inviting. Our wait person was attentive and fun. We shared the Crispy Brussels Sprouts starter; my husband doesn't love Brussels sprouts, but he loved these. I had the Mediterranean Street Cart Bowl with Chicken Shawarma, and he had the Philly Steak Sub. Both were excellent.

First time dining, attentive service, reasonably priced entrees, delicious pizza, excellent chicken picatta...large portions...taking may be a problem
