We were underwhelmed by our experience at Vue 1913. We have loved our stay at the Omni Grove Park Inn (for our anniversary and engagement celebration), but the service and food were lacking.

We absolutely loved Vue 1913. The atmosphere was elegant, the service was attentive, and every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The table got the elk, steak, and lamp chomps. All were incredible. From start to finish the experience was outstanding. Can't wait to go back.

Amazing service for a great birthday dinner! My daughter wanted a raspberry chocolate martini for dessert, although it wasn't on the menu. The bartender made the best one either one of us had ever tasted, including a decorative chocolate drip on the inside of the glass. Amazing!! Table service from Kim was excellent, and the entire staff was very attentive.

Incredible views of the golf course to the mountains, and even downtown Asheville to the left, and the sunset was gorgeous! What a beautiful backdrop to this intimate yet friendly restaurant. Our waiter, Michael, was so courteous and friendly -- not constantly hovering, but there when we needed him. He offered some spot-on recommendations for wine and dinner, and just made our evening out that much more special. The caesar salad foam dressing is the best I've had, and I would also highly recommend the Halibut. Beautiful presentation of a most delectable dish. Be prepared to enjoy yourself more than you might expect.

First, our server Mallory was probably the best I have ever had the pleasure of being served by. She was perfect on every level. But here's what made this evening particularly special. Several weeks in advance of my visit to the Omni Grove Park Inn and Spa I made a request for a particular dish that I had enjoyed previously at the Vue 1913 but it was not on the menu at this time. I was told my request had been forwarded to the chef yet he never received it. However, our server Mallory took a shot and asked him if he would prepare it for us. I knew it would be a longshot but it was worth asking. And much to my delight he agreed. Chef Brian not only prepared it perfectly, he and several other servers graciously served it to us in grand style at our table. And I've been told that serving guests at their table is not something Chef Brian ever does. He was an absolute delight and we very much enjoyed chatting with him. I could go on and on about how enjoyable our experience was but I think you get the idea. I highly recommend dining at the Vue 1913 at the Omni Grove Park Inn and Spa.

The food was absolutely delicious, seasoned perfectly and made with fresh ingredients. Our host seated us promptly, followed by attentive servers and wait staff who provided us exceptional service throughout our dinner. It was a truly wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food and service. Both of our entrees, Halibut and 7 oz Angus beef tenderloin were prepared to perfection. Disappointed that people showed up in ragged jeans and men in baseball hats when dress code states smart casual.

The beautiful setting and excellent service of this restaurant is backed up by really good food. The only thing that killed the great buzz is the $40 parking fee. We just dropped $250 on dinner for two, were only there for two hours, thats silly. They explained it was an all day charge, well, you should have a charge for diners. Even $20 would be high. To put into perspective, the valet at the best restaurants in LA are usually around $15! This is not that! So felt taken advantage of. The restaurant though, and staff were amazing.

Always a great experience at this restaurant. We were hoping to have the 7 course chefs dinner with wine pairings but were told they hadn't done that for years (we did it last March!) That was disappointing BUT we still had a fabulous meal and were well taken care of.
Requested a seat by the window, was seated as far away from the window as possible even though there were open tables. Hostess even admitted they do not look at requests.

Food was great but for the money paid, the service was very slow. We waited almost 20 minutes upon seating and no one had come over to greet us or take our drink order. Once I flagged down a manager, the server she sent was great but it took away from the overall experience

The food and service were incredible. We had the 7oz filet and the scallops and both were amazing. Also had the beets as a starter and one of the most unique and flavorful dishes we have ever had. Yes the restaurant is very expensive but you know that going into or don't go. Additionally we were celebrating our anniversary and they had an arranged bouquet of flowers on our table at no expense. Great touch and really appreciated that. The only negative is there was a large group in the back that were both loud and bordering obnoxious, even dropping F bombs loudly. This sort of ruined what would have been a nice atmosphere. Not only for us but everyone else in the restaurant. The manager should have spoken to them but obviously did not. However everything else was 5 star to include our waitress Mallory.
