This is the nastiest restaurant I have ever been to. The floors the walls everything is covered in sticky grease looking substance. You can barely even see through their windows. On top of all that, they gave me the wrong food and we witnessed the cook tasting our food and putting the spoon directly back into the pan. Disgusting! This place should be shut down.
Took forever, staff was rude, food was bad.

Love the food but honestly not sure I wanna come back after the lady that takes your food order was rude to a lady standing waiting on her food. Then after this lady leaves with her food, she proceeds to yell out I hate when people stand right there. The lady wasn’t doing anything wrong and was not blocking the sauces. She needs to learn manners and kindness it goes a long way.
Food was okay. Not the greatest vibes in the restaurant. Person behind the register had a bad attitude. Not personable at all.
Prices have increased and what's online isn't accurate
Honestly I am amazed at how bad this place went down hill. When I was younger my dad would take me here and it was great so I had good memories of it then. Last two times I went were just awful.
I'll start off by saying that $30 for one plate of chicken and rice and dumplings is insane.
We went to go sit down at tables and EVERY table was nasty, either had sauce or rice stuck to the table. I ended up cleaning our own table while the people at the front just sat there on their phone.
There was literally stuff peeling off the walls and it looked like there was grease on some of the walls. I don't know how they stay open with the uncleanliness.
Parking lot was completely empty as well as the restaurant except for the kids in there. I thought they were closed because of how barren the place was.
On top of that the people working there ended up yelling at the kids a couple times which was awkward.
Now the worst part was the food. I was really excited to go get some food from there as I said earlier I had great memories of it from when I was younger. The chicken tasted like it was frozen and unthawed and cooked, extremely dry and had a weird sour taste to it. The rice was semi stale and the carrots were burnt, I ended up throwing half of them away. My stomach actually was hurting after I had eaten there and mind you this was the only thing I've eaten all day.
We tried to get soda out of the fountain and two out of the three just did not taste like what it was supposed to be as well as the third being completely flat.
We will not be returning here, I am completely disappointed in what this place has turned into.

Stopped in today to try because my favorite spot got washed away during the hurricane in biltmore. Person that took my order was very nice and the older lady and gentleman cooking was nice enough. After I ordered my food I had some time to look around and noticed how unclean this place is. I was starting to second guess my choices at this point but google reviews was telling me the food is so good and worth the money because this place is not cheap. First off my avocado that was in my sushi was so hard I could not chew it. Everything was pretty much flavorless with the 2 sushi rolls I ordered. My 20 dollar steak plate that was supposed to come with fried rice and carrots well the rice was not a fried rice it was over cooked brown colored rice and the carrots were so mussy they just fell apart when tried to poke them with my fork. The steak was okay for the most part. Some pieces were very tuff and unable to chew. Will not go back!!!

No cars in the parking lot. Food tasted funny. The whole place looked so unsanitary. We felt dirty sitting there and couldn’t even finish our food. Extremely overpriced .

Best Japanese in Asheville!
Fresh and delicious food. Great service. Good prices.
My concern is the cleanliness of the restaurant itself. Definitely need to work on wiping down the walls and trash cans covered in fat and leftover foods. The dirtiness kinda makes it cheap looking.
Very pricey 55 bucks for 3 meals!!!!! Not sure I can afford that! Very good food !!!

This place is incredibly dirty. There was a thick layer of dirt around every single air vent and grime on at least one wall (Didn't want to keep looking around after that). The person who took the order and scooped the rice/carrots "cleaned" her hand by sticking it in the chemical bucket with the table rag.
Food was... edible? Chicken was dry. Don't recommend.
