I was left speechless today at how rude the lady at the cash register was for absolutely no reason at all. I came to read reviews thinking that maybe she was just having a bad day, but her hatefulness seems to be par for the course. I’ve never left a bad review before, but she spoke to me like I was a complete idiot. There were 3 people other than myself in the restaurant so they weren’t overly busy. When I said I was there to pick up a to go order, instead of asking my name she stated, hatefully, “I have more than one to go order”. Then proceeded to point to 2 bags on the counter and let me know rudely that “these are all to go orders”. I gave her my name and she pulled my order from somewhere behind her, dropped it on the counter and said, again hatefully, “this one is yours”. I left a tip, which was absolutely not earned, picked up my food and left completely baffled by this persons tone with a customer. I preach to my kids that it’s not what you say it’s how you say it, someone needs to teach her that too.“These are all to go orders, could I please have your name?”“Thank you for your order, this one is yours”Simple. Simple. Simple.I actually didn’t get a thank you at all, but if you see this you’re welcome for your tip.

Called to make an order and asked if they had hibachi or teriyaki dishes. The person answering the phone says "what do you mean? Hibachi means grilled and teriyaki is a sauce." I said I'd try to find their menu and call back. Looking at their menu they clearly have several dishes called hibachi X or teriyaki X. I'm just out here trying to order some food.

I have never been treated so bad in my life,you get less food and higher prices,the overweight white lady that wears the same shorts ever time I'm in there ,yelled at me and my children for not tipping her for putting my food in a bag,very very rude,asaka is so much better and customer service is top notch.

I have been eating at YOSHIDA’S for over 20 years. It has always been my favorite place to eat along with my kids. Everyone there knows me by first name. Tonight on Friday October, 20, 2023 I placed an order for take out. They close at 8:30. I literally walked in at exactly 8:30 (I got stuck in traffic). I walked in smiling and apologizing. The owner (THE WIFE) was at the register (there were people still sitting and eating). She didn’t say anything to me… was being very rude. But hey, that’s fine! I was late-ish ?♀️. So I didn’t say anything. She told me my total (which was almost $100) I gave her my card she swiped it… and then instead of turning the iPad my way to sign my name or to want my receipt… she rudely says “you don’t tip any way”…… I was COMPLETEY shocked that she would treat a customer who has always eaten there for two decades like that. I honestly thought the tipping question was just kind of protocol or something? She was yelling… and I did too.. I’m never confrontational…. But that was so messed up man. She said she doesn’t care if I don’t come back anymore. If I knew she had always wanted me to tip her for simply placing my order… I would have! Didn’t know it was an issue ?♀️ I’m just shocked on how a loyal customer was treated by the owner ?♀️ Guess I need a new favorite spot! I’ll stick with ICHIBAN and ASAKA is actually a great place, so I guess that’s the new spot! I ALWAYS TIP WHEN IM OUT EATING. If I can’t afford a tip… I order to go!

Atmosphere was dark and dingy, a really depressing place to visit. I walked in and gave it the benefit of the doubt. Spent about $50 for 2 plates of bland unsalted garbage prison food.You'll find Better Japanese at the Mall Food court, and that's saying something. At one time this place was said to be good, it's sadly way past it's prime.
