Thanksgiving buffet was very disappointing, the food was cold, there were 2 pies (apple and pecan, no pumpkin )and brownies, there was no coffee available, there was no butter, waitstaff was inattentive. The cost was $34.99 per person then taxes and gratuity was automatically added, final cost for meal for 2 was $88. Ridiculous! Don’t waste your time going here!

The food was cold, selection of desserts was terrible, no coffee or hot tea( only iced tea and water), and no butter. The wait staff was not attentive at all. They didn't have a table reserved for us. The cost was $88 for this absolutely awful experience. I wouldn't recommend the Clamdigger to anyone!

Staying at the inn. Absolutely Horrible service at the restaurant!! DO NOT EVER GO!! Got greeted with an attitude. Lady that sat us down told us it would be in our best interest if we did the buffet, $18 buffet ok no big deal. Rubber eggs, cardboard bacon, hard hash browns, completely waste of money!! On top of that i had to walk to the lobby to fill my water back up because our waitress was no where to be seen for 30min

15SEPT.2023 This is my first visit here with my mate and everything was exceptional. My review is that the service was on an island time pace and they served us with a beautiful attitude and energy. The most best experience I’ve ever had. Robin who took our food order was superb and proficient. This was my experience in the Clam Digger Restaurant and I’ve traveled quite extensively and in super posh and elegant restaurants and laid back super casual restaurants abroad over the many, many years and current travel. The process here is relaxed and NOT rat race hurry up..when one understands that concept then they will appreciate the southern service experience. Until then sit back, relax, and unwind. The Fort Macon Your Own Omelette was prepared well. The provolone cheese could’ve been melted a bit more in order to mesh with my omelette. My mates bagel with sausage, egg ?, and cheese ? was super delicious. Now the oil needs to be changed due to my crispy rounds or round shaped hash browns tasted disgusting of old greased that has had everything fried in it. Ketchup couldn’t even help them. Great Friday morning breakfast ever. I appreciate the cranberry juice and orange juice mix our drink server prepared for us. The juice needed a little stir in order for the flavors to blend and taste good. It had a metal taste(probably the juices came out of metal cans).Exceptional customer service experience all around.

We had several meals at the restaurant during our stay at the Inn at Pine Knoll shores. All of the food was fresh and well prepared. We had lunch served poolside and it was very tasty. The bartender Shawna was awesome and went above and beyond serving drinks!

Parking: Parking was free, but the restaurant is located inside the hotel.

During our stay at the Inn at Pine Knolls, we dined twice for breakfast at their on-site restaurant. Despite clearly being short-staffed, the service we received on both occasions was truly exceptional. The waitresses we had for each meal were on it – super friendly and very efficient! As a shrimp and grits enthusiast, I tend to be pretty picky about how they are prepared. Not being a super-fancy place, I didn't have high expectations for this particular restaurant. When they arrived, they appeared overly sauced, but wow, they were seasoned just right and so tasty – exceeding my expectations! My wife ordered "The Islander" and raved about the pancakes being some of the best she'd ever had. Great service and reasonable prices made our trip more enjoyable. We're already looking forward to returning and experiencing both the hotel and the restaurant once more.

Even with the $25 off coupon this place is not worth it. Better to find some good food elsewhere everything was bland and not worth the price.

Just ordered shrimp dinner and a flounder dinner $60. For takeout. Worse ever. Flounder was about 6 bites. Coleslaw had no taste. 3 hush puppy. Don’t waste your money. Don’t know how they stay in there. This restaurant used to be top notch. Locals loved it as well as tourists. They have gone so far downhill. Limited hours. Nothing good to say. Former owners cared about customers and quality

Dinner was takeout only, no wait staff which sucks. Ate on our balcony which was Ok but..... Food OK would be unhappy if we hadn't had a $25 off coupon. Couldn't be helped but seems like a classier place could do better with food service as no nearby restaurants.

I’ve stayed multiple times at the hotel this restaurant is located. It is more often closed than open for sit down service. The food is above average to even excellent. Got a great mahi and the grilled shrimp is perfectly seasoned and tender. But here’s MY beef: when you force me to get a to go order because you aren’t seating diners how dare you force place a 20% gratuity and NOT TELL ME when you give me the bill with a tip line. I always add a tip. So BUYER BEWARE!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Google said they opened at 8. They were running late and didn’t open til 8:30. Had only one server, who then gave the hostess an attitude about “taking her tips” when the hostess was helping out taking an order to get customers served. Like, what is more important, your tips or the fact that 5 tables just got seated and you’re one person?! We sat there for almost 30 mins with no even stopping at our table for a drink order. Then the hostess sat a new table and they got water before we did. Another table’s food was out before anyone ever got to our table. We left. Awful service. The only thing that was nice was the aesthetic of the room. Would probably be a great place to eat if they hired enough competent people.
