“My wife and I were here last night for our anniversary dinner, second time dining here to celebrate. I cannot say enough how impressed we were. From the warm greeting we received the second we walked in to the speedy seating, to the cozy atmosphere . The wait staff was wonderful, informative, and friendly. The food? Incredible! Lobster and crab dip very tasty ....the Scallops were truly amazing and fresh cooked to absolutel PERFECTION. Tuna, amazing . Veggies, perfect. Everything was hot and served very quickly. To top it off the owner took the time to speak with us at the end of our dinner. He was incredibly nice and educated us on seafood. One of the things that really speaks volumes about this restaurant was him and the fact that the waitress told us later it's a wonderful place to work and the staff is treated well! That's rare to hear. Great job by all and we will be back”

“Most amazing, affordable, delicious, and hands down, the best hidden gem on the island. If you haven't eaten here, you are missing out. You will luck out if they have the smoked chicken salad special. All in all, everything I have tasted from Beach Burgers is out of this world excellent. It's my new favorite place to eat. There is something for everyone. I would give it ten stars if I could. ?”

“I give 5 stars to this place. The best breakfast we could eat on that island. The waitress who attended us was very kind. We did not speak English and she helped us kindly.

The only thing I did not like is that the man who brought the payment receipt was asking us for tips. We had already given the cash tip to the waitress.
Tipping is not compulsory, this gentleman should not demand it from anyone. But we liked the place. That alone was not right.”

“Prolly the best Mexican food I've ever had. Amazing! My son is over 9 so they charged $2 more for a kids meal which shouldn't be allowed.. But food was amazing!”

“On a beach trip from Raleigh, my friends and I will never miss a YUMMY trip to SUB TROPICS. And there are many! It is conveniently located at the beach on the main road, Ford Macon Road en route to the Circle and other Atlantic Beach public shorelines. Beachgoers can shop local and stop in for something refreshing and will love colorful Sub Tropics - a sandwich, wrap and smoothie spot that's located in the heart of Atlantic Beach, just off the Atlantic Beach Causeway. I love what one review on google said, "cheerful customization from the chief, Charles." I also added a pic of some dolphins we saw. Be kind to the animals tho and be sure pick up all of your trash while at the beach. Stop in to SUB TROPICS for a treat on your next beach vacay.”

“This is an addition to a previous review from a year or so ago. I now live in the area, and have found that the service and food is just as good as when I was in AB as a visitor. It is winter-time yet the food is still top notch and the service outstanding. My mother loves the Three-C chowder which is chunky, creamy, and chock full of seafood (I had to get in my 3-Cs!). The shrimp dinner has an ample portion of shrimp and the sides are a nice addition. Burgers are cooked as you ask, and tater tots make it an awesome meal. The wait staff in here are incredibly friendly, efficient, and personable. I still highly recommend On the Rocks as the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the service is impecable. These ladies are awesome! For a great place to eat during the winter as well as the busy season, I will continue to go to On the Rocks.”

“Wide variety of food. Portions large. Food was good for the most part. Orange chicken which is usually sweet with just a little spice was HOT 🌶️🌶️ This is my youngest sons favorite but he was unable to eat due to how spicy it was.”
