“This place is not the kind of place you will want to sit & eat but if you order correctly then it's a very satisfying experience.
We ordered the Mongolia Beef, Vegetable Fried Rice & Steamed Dumplings.
It was all really good for around $30.“

“This is an addition to a previous review from a year or so ago. I now live in the area, and have found that the service and food is just as good as when I was in AB as a visitor. It is winter-time yet the food is still top notch and the service outstanding. My mother loves the Three-C chowder which is chunky, creamy, and chock full of seafood (I had to get in my 3-Cs!). The shrimp dinner has an ample portion of shrimp and the sides are a nice addition. Burgers are cooked as you ask, and tater tots make it an awesome meal. The wait staff in here are incredibly friendly, efficient, and personable. I still highly recommend On the Rocks as the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the service is impecable. These ladies are awesome! For a great place to eat during the winter as well as the busy season, I will continue to go to On the Rocks.“

“The staff is extremely friendly. the rooms are a bit outdated, but the service that you receive makes it well worth it. the views are unbelievable because you face the ocean and it is wonderful. you also have the balconies with the microwave and a refrigerator and a safe if you need it. so overall the hotel is wonderful. however, the restaurant rising tide the service is awful. their rejection of people just because they're not buying anything to sit on their property is unreal. I recommend you eat elsewhere, stay at the hotel and find you a different restaurant to eat. four corners is a wonderful restaurant for breakfast and lunch. rising tide is awful for breakfast and lunch or dinner and it's extremely expensive“

“My wife and I were here last night for our anniversary dinner, second time dining here to celebrate. I cannot say enough how impressed we were. From the warm greeting we received the second we walked in to the speedy seating, to the cozy atmosphere . The wait staff was wonderful, informative, and friendly. The food? Incredible! Lobster and crab dip very tasty ....the Scallops were truly amazing and fresh cooked to absolutel PERFECTION. Tuna, amazing . Veggies, perfect. Everything was hot and served very quickly. To top it off the owner took the time to speak with us at the end of our dinner. He was incredibly nice and educated us on seafood. One of the things that really speaks volumes about this restaurant was him and the fact that the waitress told us later it's a wonderful place to work and the staff is treated well! That's rare to hear. Great job by all and we will be back“
