“In town for a few days, picked up Mahi-Mahi and Shrimp Tacos as dinner to go. Fantastic falls short of how good these truly are. Best fish tacos I’ve had. Jalapeno crema is not overdone, just enough. Fish grilled perfect, shrimp grilled perfectly. Fresh onion relish. Also grabbed some chili for lunch the next day Solid, meaty, great flavor. And a huge bonus (for me at least) Paulaner Hefe on TAP!!!“
“I stopped at El Zarape with my dad and we had a great time at the bar. They had reasonable drink prices. Food was excellent - fajitas and enchiladas. Lots of meat and very filling. We will return again next time we're in Atlantic Beach.Parking: Plenty of parking in front with 2 entrances“
“Yovani was our waiter and he was excellent! The food was excellent! The house margarita was the strongest and best margarita we’ve had this trip. The restaurant was very clean as well as the bathrooms. We are very happy to have passed up 6 other places and end up at El Mexicano Tacos & Tequila!!“
“This place has never disappointed. We have now been multiple times, and ordered in on numerous occasions. The food is the best Mexican food we have had. From California to Carolina this place is number one!! Our most recent waitress, Beatrice, was awesome. Her menu suggestions were great, and she was very attentive. I know they have many locations, but this one just feels right. If you live nearby, get there immediately.“
“Our family ordered take out from Plaza Mexico and all I can say is Wow! The food was nicely packaged and the portions were huge. I got the chicken fajita quesadilla supreme, which was loaded with chicken, onions and mushrooms. Our family ordered burritos, enchiladas and queso, along with chips and salsa. Everyone enjoyed their meals and some had leftovers for the next day. The house made salsa was very tasty and not too spicy. I would highly recommend the Morehead city location for a good, authentic Mexican meal.“

“Server was super nice and explained items in detail and helped my bf decide what to get. Portions are HUGE and it's not super expensive. Food was fresh and piping hot. 100% recommended!Vegetarian options: They had awesome vegetarian options. I did the pick 3. I had a potato burrito with red sauce, mushroom quesadilla, and a cheese burrito. They were all delicious. The mushroom and potatoes were the best! They also had bean dip and it was the best ever.“

“What a great experience we had. First and foremost is the gorgeous view of the water. You feel like you're in a boat because you're so close. Dining and watching the ducks diving was awesome. We arrived at around 5pm on a Friday in March without a reservation and we were lucky enough to get a window table. I'm not sure if that's always the case, so call ahead if the view is important to you. I think this would be a great place to go on a date.The menu is fairly small. However, my husband and I both easily found a couple of options we were happy with. I had the ahi tuna tacos and he had the jerk chicken and wedge salad. When I tell you everything was delicious, I mean amazing. Every single aspect of each dish was spot on and well thought out. Our server, Gypsy, was lovely too. Just the right amount of friendly and very professional. We would like to return to Beaufort just to dine here again and have the same meal!We ordered the strawberry bread pudding to share and it was so very delicious. It was so big that we couldn't quite finish it unfortunately. The bread pudding has fresh tasting strawberries throughout, a strawberry frosting (cream cheese perhaps?), plus whipped cream. So good.The location is right at the beginning of Front Street at number 300, so it's easy to find. I don't usually gush so much over a restaurant, but when it's so good, plus reasonably priced as this one is, I like to spread the joy.“
“My husband's order was wrong, but they fixed it quickly. The drive-through guy was trying to man the drive-thru and the front cash register, so we thought the orders got crossed. It's typically clean in the lobby. Overall, it was a satisfactory place to eat if looking for something fast.“
“This is one of my positive reviews. Tower 7 in Morehead City offers a pleasant dining experience that's as delightful as the scenery it provides. The views alone are worth it. My server was a young woman by the name of Cynthia who clearly understands the business. I like her service because she doesn't bother you unnecessarily yet my water or my drinks are always always taken are of. That's all I ask, let eat in peace, let me enjoy the view, I don't want to chat and please bring me my drinks. Thank you Cynthia for making our dining experience special. 10 /10. Five stars.“
“We were a bit hesitant when we saw the limited lunch menu available on the covered porch as we were there at 2. But I would go back today and order the exact same thing! The Jamaican wings had the best flavor and were crispy. Their ranch and blue cheese was thick and on point and must be homemade. The grilled pimento cheese w bacon was so rich and creamy on delicious nutty bread. For my side I had the cucumber salad which had onions and peppers in a vinaigrette and was perfect to cut the richness of the pimento cheese. It was such a good combination! I did not get a picture of the shrimp tacos my friend had but she said they were delicious too.“
“We love this place for great Mexican cuisine. Agree with other posts that the restaurant is very clean. Food is excellent & reasonable pricing. Myra is the best server. Maria very good server also. Nachos has 3 different superb sauces (hot to mild) to go with the pre-meal chips that are served warm. We enjoy the Chile Relleno a lot plus @ $5 it's a great price.Parking: It's next to Food Lion so lots and of free parking“
