“In town for a few days, picked up Mahi-Mahi and Shrimp Tacos as dinner to go. Fantastic falls short of how good these truly are. Best fish tacos I’ve had. Jalapeno crema is not overdone, just enough. Fish grilled perfect, shrimp grilled perfectly. Fresh onion relish. Also grabbed some chili for lunch the next day Solid, meaty, great flavor. And a huge bonus (for me at least) Paulaner Hefe on TAP!!!“

“Got there at 1pm. No food at 2pm. Told it was because one of the order takes longer because there are 2 patties to be cooked. Few minutes later, was told the ticket was lost. Still no food at 2:20. Went up to the bar and no apology but curt it is coming. Finally got the food at 2:30. Curt here is your food as if we were the problem. The waitress was nice but not the manager looking lady. What a fiasco. Never again.“

“Omg I can't say enough about this place it's so welcoming! The beers are crazy good and some I've never even tried! It's small and get this an old what I call factory whistle goes off at around 5ish it's crazy but if you go in ask and they'll explain it to you! The feeing you get it so back in the days of good neighbors and local friends/family. Popcorn machine which is delicious popcorn and craft beer umm yeah! It's small inside but there's also seating outside as well. I love this place! If you are driving through I highly recommend a stop !“

“Was traveling down south from Massachusetts recently and I happened to stop in Newport, NC. While looking for a place to kick back and have a couple drinks I stumbled upon this bar. Once I walked in I was immediately greeted with kindness and generosity by their incredibly beautiful bar tender. She made sure I felt welcomed and her service was top notch!! She could also mix any drink I asked for!! They have corn hole, pool, darts, and a fire pit! The atmosphere was amazing throughout the night. I planned on only staying for 1-2 drinks, but I loved it so much I stayed till closing and stayed another night in town just to hang out there again. If you happen to be in the area of Newport, NC you want to visit this bar! You won’t regret it! And make sure you tip that wonderful bartender nicely because she deserves it!!“
“Got take out pizza and salad. Salads were quite good, but the pizza was PERFECT (from a pizza snob that has tried them all!). We had the Margherita and the sausage with peppers. Both were really good - crust was perfect - thin wood fired oven baked perfectly. Toppings were well proportioned and flavorful.“

“I love the food at Ribeyes. The waitresses are great. The chef is superb. The atmosphere is good. I liked the food so much that I wanted to meet the chef and thank him personally. He will come to our table when we eat there and check to make sure everything is okay. New to Ribeyes and this means a lot to me and my family. I always want to give praise when praise is deserved. “My second visit to the restaurant with the new chef. As it was Easter Sunday evening, I still haven't seen a full new menu (first visit was during Restaurant Week), but dinner was quite good and the service excellent. I love the restaurant's wine list, so I'm hoping that I enjoy the 'new' menu when I get back for it.“
“Being vegetarian, there was a sandwich on the menu we wanted to try, only to find out they were out of one of the main ingredients.They made the sandwich a different way with olive oil and some other seasonings, and it turned out GREAT!! “We were a bit hesitant when we saw the limited lunch menu available on the covered porch as we were there at 2. But I would go back today and order the exact same thing! The Jamaican wings had the best flavor and were crispy. Their ranch and blue cheese was thick and on point and must be homemade. The grilled pimento cheese w bacon was so rich and creamy on delicious nutty bread. For my side I had the cucumber salad which had onions and peppers in a vinaigrette and was perfect to cut the richness of the pimento cheese. It was such a good combination! I did not get a picture of the shrimp tacos my friend had but she said they were delicious too.“

“We read some reviews and decided to try this restaurant. We were also coming from the beach and were wind blown and sandy, ie not dr3ssed for a fancy place.Hubs had the Mahi Mahi and cup of clam chowder . He loved both. The chowder was rich with clams! I had the Captains platter, and it was delicious.The only complaint was that my food cooled off very quickly as it was on a big platter. I felt that I had to rush through my food to eat it warm. Other than that, the server (Lexi) was very attentive and informative.“
