“Some items are great, others aren't. I think they have really good smoked wings, tacos, and the fig prosciutto toast.
I was suggested by whoever sat us to get the devilled eggs. I have a feeling she was from up North because those were not any devilled eggs anyone I know would be making around here. Not because of the pickled onion or the bacon but the fact that the yolk mixture itself had zero flavor. I don't think they put anything in them but mayonnaise, I didn't even taste salt. I don't recommend those. Their house made PLM sauce is really good. The only thing I could label in it was mustard. I like the atmosphere.“

“Shut the front door! Now thats a cupcake. I would have taken a picture of the cupcakes but its just an empty box now. We had 6 flavors and all were fantastic. The icing is just amazing. The flavor stays with you, its delicious well after eating one and washing it down with some ice cold milk. I drove by a bunch of times not knowing, or making a remark of hrm happycakes. That was a mistake. Don't be like me go get your happycakes, and make your day happier.“

“I've been dining at both restaurants for years and enjoyed myself ,the food , and the staff! The food and sides at Morehead have a better flavor, taste better ,and the portions are much bigger. I ve notice that recently on my last couple times that the sides are much better at both restaurants. The mash potatoes in Morehead are so delicious. I wish that was the same case at the emerald isle restaurant. The Cole slaw is the best that I have taste recently. I swear if the food was as good as the sides have been lately I wouldn't eat anywhere else. SNAPPPERZ KEEP IT UP!“

“I love this place I come to the beach once a year and they are always the first place I think to eat we don't have one where I'm from and it always the best place to get a burrito made how you want without the employees skipping out on you like Chipotle. The service is also amazing quick nice and fast. I gave atmosphere 4 because it looks cool but my table was a little sticky but everything is great. My favorite is the teriyaki burrito.“

“Taste of napoli was such an authentic experience. The waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable, a true italian. The wine was imported from veneto and had such a great flavor. Overall the food was fresh and superb, down to the olive oil. The food came out quickly and hot. 100% recommend.“

“Best deals are at lunch time, ribs fall off the bone. Food service in the bar is good and you can watch sports. Friday night prime rib has never disappointed. Favorite side is a sweet potato brown sugar and butter. Can get a little crowded so go early.“

“Restaurant shout out! Casa San Carlo Morehead City wow!! What an amazing experience!! From the moment we walked in until we walked out! Our serve was so kind and helpful with suggestions (which we took and everything was beyond delicious) We started with the fresh mozzarella lightly breaded and fried with a marinara sauce, that was to die for, with fresh grated Parmesan and what looked like julienne marinated tomatoes. My husband got a lobster ravioli in a pink sauce and I got the tortellini with mushrooms, prosciutto, and peas in a creaming white sauce. Everything was an explosion of flavor. The chef came out many time to check on us to make sure we were enjoying everything. I loved the genuine connections and hearing all the talk in the kitchen. Everyone who came in after us, I could hear all the employees greeting them as if they knew them like family. This restaurant feels like coming into a family dinner and delicious food. I wish we had come here earlier. Before we left they gave us a card inside an envelope that says “no peeking”! It could be a gift card towards our next meal, a free dessert, appetizer, or bottle of wine. It says we can use it in the month of April. We will be coming back to see what is our surprise! Thank you to the team at Casa San Carlos! You gave this couple a fabulous experience! It was a long overdue date night for parents of newborn twins!“

“They have an amazing hibachi bar where you pick all the food you want and then they cook it in front of you. Also they have a good amount of sushi options, fruits, salads, and a ton of other food. They also have ice cream cups and give you a fortune cookie at the end.“

“I was at this place with my Tugboat crew from the Tug Dorothy Moran the other week as we where there in Morehead City to dock the USS. Arlington LPD-24 that was loading up Marines from Camp Lejeune. We where looking for some great local places to eat and we found this wonderful old restaurant. This place was wonderful! From the good food to the interior of this place. I love it and I will return, there is a lot of history in this place and I love that too.“
