“I've been dining at both restaurants for years and enjoyed myself ,the food , and the staff! The food and sides at Morehead have a better flavor, taste better ,and the portions are much bigger. I ve notice that recently on my last couple times that the sides are much better at both restaurants. The mash potatoes in Morehead are so delicious. I wish that was the same case at the emerald isle restaurant. The Cole slaw is the best that I have taste recently. I swear if the food was as good as the sides have been lately I wouldn't eat anywhere else. SNAPPPERZ KEEP IT UP!“

“Our first time there this morning. We each got an omelette. My husband got grits as a side and he said they were the best he’s had. I agree about my omelette! We will definitely be back. There was a little wait because it was so busy but we went to their bar and had awesome mimosas while we waited.“

“Here for the first time a few nights ago. Got take-out. The bbq was very good and the vinegar-pepper sauce was on point. Wife is more of a ketchup base and they had a sauce for her that she liked as well. Been a life long NC'er but we moved up to Indiana a few years ago and you cannot, cannot find good bbq up there. They think its good up there but no vinegar can be found. We will be back.“

“They are on summer hours now! 11am - 2am. First time eating at King Mac’s, and boy it didn’t let us down!!! Under new management now and the staff is awesome, food was even better! “We ate at Southern Salt last night with a group of over 30 people. My wife made reservations a few weeks ago . GREAT FOOD ! GREAT SERVICE ! I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for making this meal one to remember.“

“We drove 2.5 hours to eat. The best seafood around. The hostess, waiter and manager made the meal even better as we arrived 10 minutes before they closed, they still welcomed us in as if they were not getting ready to close. You won't find a better place to eat.“

“Awesome food and awesome service this afternoon from our waitress Summer...she was attentive making sure our sodas stayed filled and that we were satisfied with our food!! i ordered a fried shrimp burrito and it was good!! my family and I will be back!!“
