“We recently were in Ocracoke for 3 weeks and had the best time ever.Beach , shelling then at 3 o’clock it was off to Dajio’s for shrimp and cocktails….( dinner some nights) . The staff are THE BEST …….serving the best food and of course cocktails,Chris was our server most nights , he’s a great guy and we regarded him as a friend by the end of our vacation.So much so he and other members of the staff sighted a t shirt I bought because I wanted to have their names with me every time I wear it . The bar staff are fun friendly and can pour a dam good drink . I would recommend Dajio over anything on the island ( apart from Pony for breakfast) ….we miss you guys 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘🍸🥰“

“Fresh, fresh, fresh and deliciously prepared seafood and fish. I had oysters to start and then a scallop special for my main course. Both had the delicate briney taste of the best seafood. Other in my group had flounder which also was quite good. For dessert we split a key lime pie that definitely was made of key limes and a blueberry cobbler that was the perfect balance of hot cobbler and cold vanilla ice cream. The service also was great. The price was quite reasonable for the high quality of the seafood and fish.“

“Fabulous menu. Started with figs abs prosciutto, seared scallops with cilantro lime butter followed. The jasmine rice and vegetables were perfect. Key lime pie was the perfect final touch. All enjoyed from an open air table served by Julius. Awesome evening on Ocracoke Island. Thanks“

“I had the blackened chicken sandwich here in 2017, 9 whole years ago- and I have been literally dreaming of it ever since. I have yet to have even something comparable and I travel all over. I’m so glad to see it’s still open- I now live in Colorado and am counting the days til I can make it back to Howards… I would pay ungodly amounts of money to know what kind of blackening seasoning they use!! Almost a decade later. BEST chicken sandwich of my life, hands down. I wish I would’ve personally thanked the chef back then.“
