“Ate there on my birthday. May 22. Food was great. I had the sheepshead and my husband had the oysters. Chloe, our waitress was wonderful. She treated us to a bowl of the famous chowder and chocolate cake. We loved it so much until we stopped on the way to the ferry and bought some frozen. Everything we ate was perfect..“

“Buxton Munch is the best place. 27 years serving the Village, so they're doing it right! The food, owners, staff and atmosphere are a true local gem! The shrimp and fish tacos are our favorite, but all the food is great, nice portions and good prices. It's tucked away in a small strip mall, it's across the street from Dollar General and the ABC store. If you pass it, turn around, it's worth the U-turn.“

“While at the OBX for our annual family vacation, we visited the CC for dinner. Always the best! The raw oysters were the best we ever had and the mignonette sauce excellent. Bring back the scallop puffs! See you next summer!“

“Best crab cakes ever, hot and very tasty. Shrimp, delicious. Great coleslaw, hush puppies and decent fries. I thoughtthe scallops may be from another type fish. Grain was wrong, but very tasty. Overall a good stop. Reasonable pricing. It's a bar, so it is noisy.However the service was good.“
