“This restaurant has the classic outer banks feel. Formerly Owens Restaurant for several decades, The Captain's Table maintains the same charm and allure. The fried seafood platter was enjoyable. The Shrimp and Scallops were especially delicious. The collards were fantastic.“

“Soft Shell Crab special was amazing! The Sugar Creek Seafood Pasta w/ fire roasted pepper marinara was excellent as well. Dinner came w/ the best cornbread I've ever had, not something I would go out of my way to order but so glad it was included with the meals! Seasonal vegetable was a fresh cucumber, tomato and onion salad, very, very good!
Ordered food to go so waited at the bar and had excellent service from Cameron (I think I remembered his name correctly🤞🏻) He was so sweet and accommodating.
Restaurant atmosphere was very nice. Beautiful sound side sunset views, interesting decor and big gift shop.“

“We ate lunch at Greentail’s this afternoon and had the most wonderful food and service. I had the daily special tempura noodles. This was one of the very best meals I have eaten at the OBX in years. My wife had a Poke tuna bowl and it was excellent. We will definitely go back and would recommend.“

“Dirty Dicks - wow, oh, wow! Our male server, who we've had a few times, was very attentive, as always. Our food - WOW is all we can say! The Mariners Platter was big enough for 2 grown men to share, and they still left food on the plate. It was a GIGANTIC portion size and oh so delicious! Another meal we had was the shrimp tacos, another WOW!! These were big tacos full of shrimp, not just 3 or 4 shrimp per taco. No, there was probably close to a dozen shrimp per taco, and wow, the sauce they were in, WOW! We will definitely be returning, very very soon, for another delicious meal!!“

“Walked in 40 minutes before closing to have dinner with my daughter and granddaughter and the staff was absolutely wonderful! And the food was AMAZING! This will be our new go to spot! We even got a complimentary sample of their she crab soup…. OMG!!!!“
