I have never enjoyed waiting for a table more!…sitting outside under the gazebo on the deck that stretches into the sound, wonderful outside bar (try the Chocolate Martini!), and Yacht Rock over the speakers. We could have stayed out there all night and been content. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t say how great the food was inside, and the service was impeccable. (Richard was our waiter, and he is a GEM! Excellent service like he extended to our group is a lost art.) Can’t wait to see you again next year!“

“We returned to the Outer Banks last week after a 20 year hiatus, remembering Tortuga's Lie as one of our favorite places to eat. “Beautiful restaurant located on the water with terrific sunset views. We were celebrating my birthday and the evening was perfect! Lauren was our waitress and was absolutely awesome! The band was very talented and had the whole restaurant join in singing me a birthday song. We enjoyed the fried seafood platter and the broiled seafood platter.Both were well prepared. Presentation was excellent and taste was exquisite! We decided on the heath bar cake for dessert but had to get it to go as we were well satisfied.“
