“North Banks reminded us exactly why it’s such a special place in Corolla.

Cindy, the owner, could not have been more gracious and welcoming. It was genuinely great seeing her again after far too long.

We sat at the bar with two of my longtime friends and my beautiful wife, and Ian …bartender and, as far as I’m concerned, Chief Oyster Concierge … made the entire evening even better. His knowledge of oysters and seafood is impressive, but what really stood out was how much he clearly cares about what he does. The conversation was entertaining, intelligent, and educational without ever feeling forced. We learned a ton and had a great time doing it.

If I owned a restaurant, Ian is exactly the kind of person I’d want representing it.

It had been a while since our last visit, but that won’t happen again. North Banks is officially going back into the rotation as one of our go-to restaurants here in Corolla, and we’re already looking forward to coming back in the next week or so.

My husband got the daily special, it was the Honey Bourbon Pork Chop, I got the Scallops and Shrimp with Pesto Pappardelle, both meals 10/10! I got a mixed drink too, it was delicious. Service was great as well!!“
