Cindy, the owner, could not have been more gracious and welcoming. It was genuinely great seeing her again after far too long.

We sat at the bar with two of my longtime friends and my beautiful wife, and Ian …bartender and, as far as I’m concerned, Chief Oyster Concierge … made the entire evening even better. His knowledge of oysters and seafood is impressive, but what really stood out was how much he clearly cares about what he does. The conversation was entertaining, intelligent, and educational without ever feeling forced. We learned a ton and had a great time doing it.

If I owned a restaurant, Ian is exactly the kind of person I’d want representing it.

It had been a while since our last visit, but that won’t happen again. North Banks is officially going back into the rotation as one of our go-to restaurants here in Corolla, and we’re already looking forward to coming back in the next week or so.

“The don’t serve food (the serve bar snacks) so we didn’t rate this but we love this place! It’s walkable from our beach house and have been coming here for 11 years. Still the same owners and still a very fun place. There was a gentlemen entertaining us with a great voice and guitar.

Scary that the owners son is in 3rd grade as he as grown up throughout the years (I guess it happens)

Anyway the beer is always cold and the service is always great! It’s a must to stop and grab a beer! There are food options nearby that deliver.

“From the first moment entering the hostess was very pleasant and accommodating. From that point on we were greeted and seated promptly and our waitress Anna was very delightful and professional... the food was prepared well and with Care. Portions were generous and quality was superb. I am not sure which position the young man named Tommy held, but he was very engaging and accommodating, and cannot express how lucky the business is to have someone like him. If the menu suits you an Italian is what you’re looking for. You will be well taken care of!”

“Off the Wall was our first stop when we arrived in town and we made it our last stop on our way out! I wish I would’ve gotten the name of the guy who works in the front because he was great. He was so nice and helpful that I thought he was the owner. All of the food we tried was really good, I highly recommend the burger and fries. Also, being able to try any of the beers was a lot of fun. We are looking forward to visiting again soon!!”

“We were visiting from out of state, but we ordered a custom cake for baby shower during family vacation. It was super simple to order and the cake was beautiful and delicious! They also stayed perfectly on theme with the decoration. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cake for a fun celebration!”

“We ate at Seanna for first time yesterday. It's hard to see decor of restaurant from outside but once inside it is chic and casual. All the staff were attentive and clearly trying to make sure we had a great experience. Out waiter recommended the mahi mahi special and it was delicious. The fish was firm, cooked perfectly and presented in a cream sauce that really set it off. The cannoli and lemon cheesecake were equally delicious. It's nice to have this type of dining option available in northern Corolla. We also appreciate that they are open for brunch and lunch. Will definitely be back.”

“Best donuts we have ever had! We went in the week after Dougie opened, arrived at 9:30 am and he was almost sold out….after only being open for 3 hours! We even stopped on our way home to grab a Dougie Dozen to take with us. If you’re in the area, you HAVE to getcha some. I just can’t say enough about these donuts and the awesome crew he has working there. AMAZING!!!!”

“Everything I've had from here was delicious (salad, fries, different slices). Went a couple of times while we were in town and service was always good, but on Friday afternoon the service was phenomenal. They have slices premade ranging from plain to meaty to vegetarian friendly, or you can place a specific order, and it will come out promptly.”
