“When we ordered pizza tonight, I had absolutely no expectation that it would be one of the best pizzas of my life. To my surprise it was amazing…like, there’s no way anything in New York City can be measurably better than this pizza. The crust was crisp, blistered perfectly, the toppings were on point, and the cheese was just right. I honestly wish this place was near my house because it blows away anything I can get there. 10 out 10, would absolutely recommend.”

“Their meats are sensational, service is exceptional and atmosphere is surprisingly cool. I went to order several steaks for the Holidays and wound up buying many extras. There was a family inside sucking down a few of the local brews. Highly recommend this place (and I am very picky).”

“Me and my husband came in from out of town and were looking for a spot to get a drink and some quick grub. If you been to the outerbanks prior then you are aware that all places usually close the kitchen by like 8 pm, especially around this time of the year. We came to Ike’s around 10 pm and even though the kitchen was closed they surprised us and made fries, wings and mozzarella sticks. Let me say the at food was plentiful and tasted great. The margaritas were on point and every one was so friendly and welcoming. Music was also jamming. We will be back and glad we came in. Thanks for the hospitality everyone.”

“Live music, very helpful staff, and a great selection including non-alcoholic options ? our charcuterie board was tasty too! We stopped in while we waited for a dinner table elsewhere but will definitely be back just to hang out and enjoy.”

“Although we have been coming to Duck for a number of years this was our first time in Corolla, and our first visit to Metropolis. Everything was delicious! My wife and I ordered 4 plates to share (yes, small servings but it calls itself a Tapas Bar so that was expected by us). King Trumpet Mushroom Bisque with Crab was delicious...thick, creamy with a mix of great flavors. Mixed Grill had shrimp and tune with a great cumin and garlic yogurt sauce. The scallops were cooked perfectly with a very light blue cheese cream sauce. And finally a flight of chocolate candies with very interesting flavors...everything from dark chocolate with a caramel flavor to chocolate infused with a beaujolais flavor. Overall a fun experience...will definitely be back.”

“Had a great night at Mama Easley's. It was 8-9 years ago that I last stopped in. I had one of the best fish tacos I've ever had. We were back again and I was hoping it was still open. Thank God it was, and it's been thriving. Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal, but the hospitality was over the top! It was busy, we had a five minute wait by the water out back and promptly were seated. I was craving for clam strips, they didn't disappoint and the wife had blackened shrimp. I really love calamari, so I made a last minute decision to have those as well and the Siti of the day. All outstanding!”

“Are these the best bagels I’ve ever had? They are good, but probably not the best.But that doesn’t matter. You can tell when you come here and interact with the staff and eat their food that they care about what they do. There is something nice about a business that specializes in one thing.These bagels are outstanding and their breakfast sandwiches are excellent. The staff is very outgoing and friendly. We witnessed them be patient and understanding with small children who didn’t know what to order.Have always loved coming here and I look forward to coming back again.”

“We visited this place on our way to see the wild horses in Outer banks. We came here based on the great rating for this place on Google. Here is the summary of our experience here:1) Ambiance 4/5: The ambiance is good but there was no one when we visited. You have some place to sit on the side of the counter.2) Service 3/5: I am forced to give it a bad rating. The owner is really helpful and delightful to talk to but the younger staff (I assume the son) didn't seem to care at all. Any request for anything took a lot of time even though there was nobody else apart from my family3) Food 4/5: The food was a mixed bag. Here is the summary of the experience:a) Tofu Thai fried rice: The tofu was really soft and filling. I really liked the bowlb) Chicken Thai fried rice: While the quantity was good, my family didn't like the tastec) Crab rangoon: They were crispy and good.4) Value for money 4/5: Although, they are pricey, the quantity is good and also in such tourist places, generally things are costly,. So overall, this was expected.Based on my experience, I can only recommend this place for a take away for tofu Thai fried riceVegetarian options: There are some tofu options”

“We visited this restaurant and bar a couple days ago and it was my first time here.My fellow travelers and I ordered some delicious seafood and some dessert, yummy keylime pie. The cook did a great job. Our server Natasha was nice, professional and just awesome. Her advice about food and our travel was great, as well.No reservation, it is worth for wait outside.I would recommend this little cosy restaurant and bar.”

“Visited Whalehead Brewery today for the first time, BUT, after an outstanding pizza and cold, delicious tap beer, it will not be the last!!! The pizza's crust was crisp while soft inside with fresh ingredients. Congratulations to Christin, the owner....the brick oven and robot deliverer are the bomb!!! Also enjoyed visiting with our host and friend Kristin. A great place!!!”

“Easily one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and my wife's pasta was also incredible. The atmosphere was classy and our server was top notch. He couldn't have been more attentive, available, and relatable. I can't recommend this place enough.Parking: Plenty of parking out front during the off-season.”

“Best sushi in the outer banks!!I go here almost everyday on my lunch break, and I’ve gotten to know some of the people who work here and they are just so kind and sweet! And the food is no different! I usually get a California Roll (my personal favorite) and it never disappoints. I’ve also tried some different things from the menu, and all of it has been amazing! The service is great, the restaurant itself is so clean and inviting, overall 10/10 wonderful experience!”
