“First time dining there, very cute little mom and pop joint. We had the southwest egg rolls to start… very delicious, my wife had the seafood quesadilla which she said was “fabulous” and I had the crab cake sandwich. Everything we had was very good with the exception of the crab cake. It was very dry and off flavored ( can’t exactly describe). The staff was very personable and pleasant to deal with.I would eat there again, but I would stay away from the crabcakes.“
“Really enjoy this place. Great food, with friendly service. A bit dark inside and not overly spacious, but the two times we've gone for dinner, we were able to get a table. Close to our OBX neighborhood and to many others. At the south end of Tim Buck II near the Brew Thru with its own parking area... very convenient.“
“I go for the Skinny Margarita. Get the large as its so good the small size is just not enough. The Carnitas are pretty spot on for an actual taco my husband says. The carnitas are just like the ones we get in a brown bag at any swap meet. I always end up getting enchiladas supremas as there are no Flautas offered there are many steps to make enchiladas at home so we only have them when someone else makes them. Our server was super nice, funny and service was prompt. I wish I had gotten her name to request her the next time. We went at 6pm on a Tuesday.“
“Agave is a must-stop for anyone who is looking for a great modern Mexican experience. The food and drinks are superb, and the staff is very attentive and professional, great music and a welcoming environment. If this restaurant were in your city it would be your #1 option for Mexican nights.“
