4 Best Mexican Restaurants near Corolla

“So I’m a celiac girlie and was unsure if the Salty Rim could accommodate. Hubby called ahead and they had corn tortillas so I knew I could reasonably get a taco if all else failed.

The owner took our order and I explained my celiac and what I could and could not have. We settled on the nachos without the nacho cheese, regular cheese, chicken, guac, beans, and salsa with pico while the hubby had the birria ramen.

When they dropped off our order she let me know they changed the fry oil for the chips to be sure it was really really safe for me. FYI they apparently have three separate fryers and one dedicated to chips they make in house. Super stellar service!!

Everything was amazing! Super fresh and I did not have any problems (which I would have known about 15 minutes into our meal). I was incredibly hungry and had been surfing all day and I STILL couldn’t finish the huge batch of nachos. The drinks were awesome and the breeze from the beach (just a very short walk) was amazing.

Ok so the chicken. So tender! It’s marinaded in pineapple so if you don’t like sweet chicken get the birria or beef. It really set off the nachos!
