“I recently visited a restaurant that I would highly recommend for family dining or gathering with friends. The owner and staff were extremely hospitable and polite, making for a very welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant itself was well-maintained and had a pleasant ambiance. The food was not only presented beautifully, but the quantity and quality were both excellent. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant.“
“I craved Mexican food while visiting OBX and decided to give Azteca a try for take out. Simply put, I was impressed. Friendly service, ready right on time and hot, plentiful dish with fresh ingredients (the enchiladas were loaded with great tasty meat)...came with house prepared nachos and salsa. Only reason I gave it less than 5 stars for its atmosphere is that I wasn't there long enough to really experience it... looks very nice, though. Repeat? YES!“
“Every year, my friends and I would choose one night to have cocktails and dinner at Chilli Peppers Coastal Grill in Kill Devil Hills OBX!The food, service, and atmosphere have always provided a fun time accompanied by EXCELLENT food... A tradition we've held for over a decade was to gather on the ramp (to the side of the restaurant) and snap a picture, marking another year of friendship and fun times in the Outer Banks! (see attached photos)...This is a restaurant that has become part of the fabric of our vacations and one that I truly enjoy spending time at!“
“Had a great experience here, the food was all good, the margaritas had a noticeable amount of liqueur but the flavor was still enjoyable. Got the salsa, guac and queso appetizer and you could tell it was all made fresh. The tofu burrito was flavorful and a nice option for vegetarians. The service was great and although it was a bit pricey for casual dining I would definitely go back.“
“Peruvian Rotisserie chicken was delicious! We went back another day and got more. Chips and salsa were good but were better with the Cheese dip (isn't it always?). Steak noodles (I forget the name) was OK -- not sure we'd get that again. Fried yucca was not my favorite (a bit dry and under seasoned). Was excited to the get the fried chicken, but they were out . Service was decent and friendly. Ambiance is similar to your average Mexican restaurant.“
“Absolutely fantastic Little getaway hidden in Manteo if you have the pleasure of getting Holden as your bartender you are in for an absolute treat he is one of the best mixologists on the Island food is always fantastic staff is absolutely incredible!!!!!!“
“Enjoyed lunch today here—had shrimp tacos and my husband had steak tacos. Quick service and authentic ingredients. You order at the counter, then they call your number. A good spot during the summer crunch, never crowded. Locals eat here, we’ve ate here many times! Enjoy.“
“This is me & my family’s favorite go to restaurant on the beach. The food is always great and the staff is awesome! The owners and their family are some of the nicest and most generous people we know. I can’t say enough good things about this place. This restaurant is legendary and a staple to the outer banks. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone !“
“We couldn't find anywhere else open in the area and luckily stumbled upon this place. I love Mexican food and this place didn't disappoint. The food was excellent and the service prompt. The decor was nothing special and it was a bit dark for my liking.“
“Food is authentic as it gets, my son got 4 steak tacos and I got the steak burrito. Both were fantastic. A topping bar is available to dress up your meal. There is baked goods/pastries for sale there also. No inside dining available, either take out of outside dining.“
